He's a coward, too.

Damn straight, ahh the old comics they take me back...good times, unlike now 😐

The Thanos scan makes me wonder how can spidey dodge a Titan's speed?

hmm

spidy was never depowered i have that issue when he ran from doom he had a concussion at the time he could hardly see straight let alone fight

I remember that.

From what i've seen of Brand New Day it actually looks quite awesome.

Returning Peter to his every guy roots. However, it still makes no sense with continuity. And after the crap that is One More Day, I think it's obvious to say i'm a bit reluctant to pick it up.

I was going to post part 5 of Joe Q from the CBR interview. But he seems to shift focus to himself.

Not going to waste everyones time with it.

You have to vote with your dollars as a consumer.(you can always pick it up a few weeks later, anyway.)

Leave it be, perhaps Marvel will learn that way.

lol I've been saying this for ages, you can't change 30 years of continuity with one character without affecting everyone else.
Seriously in Booster Gold Sinestro meeting Guy Gardener early would have repercussions that would have totally changed all of DCU and would have had Sinestro take over the universe with his Corps years before it should have been started.. Changing 20 years of Spidey's history should have a stupendous effect on MU as whole.

Now that Spider-Man is a pathetic wreck, a shadow of its former glory I still need to ask this question, now that this (which I have not being following, I see the SM comics from 2001 onwards, to be a sham and a waste of time and money) One more day has altered the entire SM time line for some strange reason, even though MJ would not make that much of a difference in certain aspects, will Eddie Brock regain the mantle of Venom?

I just got this today and jeez what happened to Joey Q damn his head is going to roll if BND is not the best thing since sliced bread. What a futile exercise OMD actually is it also reeks of get out clauses everywhere which just demean the whole thing even further.

Marvel are treating us all like retards hyping all these changes and then going back to status quo after 6 months and then he has the nerve to diss DC for their events lol irony or what.

Marvel lost Spider-Man and X-Men in 2001.

Joe Q talks in the interview about wanting to return Spidey to his roots for new comic readers... but isn't that essentially what the Ultimate Universe is all about? 😬

Did “One More Day”, fix the clone mess at least? 🙄

I hope so.

Have you guys been reading the interviews with Quesada on comicbookresources.com?

I know I'm gonna get a lot of death threats now, but assuming the last 20 or so years haven't been retconned, just the marriage, unmasking, web shooters and Harry, then I'm not that upset. What does upset me is how Marvel told the story. It was executed poorly. I'm pro the Peter and Mary Jane marriage, so if they are separated, I want it told in a decent story, not the pathetic excuse for a Dr Faustus rip off we received.

What also upsets me is that in one fell swoop soooooooo much has been changed (not even counting Spidey's impact to the wider MU) that could have been retconned individually over several stories, rather than "Oh hey Mephisto's back to split up Peter and MJ

and reverse the unmasking
and bring back Harry
and bring back the web shooters

and retcon a bunch of stuff......."

Is Venom back?

Actually, yeah. I realized this at some point too and I was like "Damn. That's like the last blow to Joe's argument."

Anyway:

This should cheer some people up. Or just piss them off more.

It's risky though as it's at the cost of many longtime readers who were previously willing to shell out cash for this comic 🙁
