Gremon blurs out of the way with a Dodge, flipping over the beam as it nears him. The unwieldly plasma drill melts through a section of the platform, leaving steaming molten metal in the wake of the beam.
Wraith keeps a pullin'. The first grenade goes off, the second grenade goes off... but you lose your concentration and accidentally pull the third grenade back along the ground toward you, not yet activated. Another eight kills, though.
Ker'Raos keeps up his steady fire, killing off another two. Soldiers in that area are becoming wary of his attacks...
The Royal troopers concentrate their firepower on the North side of the lower platforms, sending a hail of lasers down into the pit. The platform is obscured in smoke from the sheer amount of blasterfire going into it... and when the smoke clears, forty-seven rebels have been massacred. The Rebel Leader quickly clears out, moving to the East platforms.
The rebels return fire, though the sudden deaths of their companions in the North section is very disheartening. Their vegeance claims twenty troopers, firing up through the holes in the platform.
The gunners find their marks again, another twenty Royal troops vanishing in five bursts of plasma.

Gremon, having evaded the plasma drill, is going to fire on the drill's power tank again. One grenade left, Wraith, but it is no longer positioned.
Gremon sends his final shot into the power tank, blowing it up. Before you can leap away, the explosion tears off the Arnian armor that was your disguise. You dive clear of the blast, however, mitigating the damage. Still, a hefty 15 damage from that. As you rise from the ground, the remains of the trooper disguise fall apart and your black robes curl out. With a shing! you Draw your knives.
Gremon, now wary of your ability to use the Force, replaces his pistol in its holster, and Draws his own set of cruel Arnian knives. They are not unlike yours, but differently shaped. As he waits for you to make the first move, he says nothing.
I assume that's a Master Saber Throw, Wraith. You snap your lightsaber out and hurl it into the crowd of Arnian soldiers, catching three in the path of your blade. They collapse... and then you let your lightsaber drop amidst the troopers, who eye the cylindrical hilt warily.
With the soldiers having sussed where the sniper fire was coming from, Ker'Raos activates Sidestep. Ten of the soldiers move into the tunnelt o deal with him, opening fire as they move. He initiates a Defensive Leap, flipping away from the blasterfire and further back into the tunnel. A pair of 20s is dangerous for poor Ker'Raos, and he takes 12 damage.
The Royal troopers concentrate their fire on the East section, now. This time, their strike is far less lethal. Twenty-six rebels fall to their rifles, including the two gunner teams.
The rebels respond with eighteen kills, supported by the gunners for another sixteen. The Rebel Leader fires off his pistol for three kills himself.

One clean shot, Wraith, takes down the Arnian soldier without trouble, though both dice of your Carnival are needed. But your presence has been announced!
Ker'Raos has retreated up the tunnel and conceals himself in an alcove as the troopers come after him... his stealthiness pays off, and they must search for him...
Wraith is beset by his own ten troopers. Oh, this gets ugly. Three 20s, a 19, and an 18... all hits at close range. They are penalized for firing at close range, as you have walked right into their midst, which saves you from a few more hits. But all said and done, 37 damage is dealt. Ouch.
The Royal troopers clear out the Eastern section this turn, with twenty-seven lives claimed by their intense stream of concentrated fire. The Rebel Leader and the only two rebels surviving that strike head North again. The Rebel Leader fires as he moves, claiming another three targets with ease.
Things are looking grim for the Rebels. Their numbers lessening, they only manage to claim eleven soldiers with their return fire. The plasma drill teams don't do much better, killing off fifteen soldiers.

A moment to change plans for Wraith, if he wishes to do so...
Reducing his damage by blurring to one side at the last moment, Wraith puts his pistol away and ignites his lightsaber. Defending works greatly, deflecting some very near hits, except one that sneaks by your guard for 7 damage. Definitely better than last turn...
Ker'Raos culminates his hastily constructed plan, revealing himself to his pursuers by igniting his lightsaber and cutting down two of them as he charges into them. The ambush causes the troopers to lose their action.
Finally, Dak strikes! He rushes Gremon and initiates his Cut and Roll, his knives flashing in the cold glow of blue lasers. But Gremon expertly clashes his knives with yours, ensnaring your weapons with a Parry. He responds by bring one of his knives down across your leg in a snapped Quick Attack... he rolls a 2, either wasting your free dodge or wasting your opportunity to use it.
The Rebels win initiative against the Royal troops, for the first time since the start of the battle. Rallied by their leader, the rebels unleash their rage, shouting as they fight back with renewed intensity. They claim twenty soldiers right off, supported by another twenty kills from the gunnery.
The soldiers do not like that. Instead of targeting the rebel soldiers, they set into action a back-up plan by pouring all of their blasterfire... into the top of the pumping device at the center of the mining pit. The first wave of shots causes pipes and coverings to burst and bend...

Gremon has the opportunity to strike again, Dak.
Wraith is still facing his opponents, but now his Force pool is depleted. Uhoh.
Wraith puts his target down in a frame, then bats the first incoming shot away with his lightsaber. Another slips by, skimming off your environmental suit with a burst of sparks. 8 damage.
Ker'Raos simply cuts down an attacker, then Defends. He struggles to hold up his defense, smacking away bolts with his lightsaber. Some of the bolts burst against the walls, showering him with shrapnel and ice for 12 damage. His inexperience with the lightsaber is very telling.
Gremon seems to almost read you, Dak. He flicks his knives into your Parry intentionally, but in doing so disguises his real attack... the Trip he executes, sweeping out your feet from under you with his tail! You are proned!
The Rebel Leader realizes what the Royal troopers are doing and frantically orders his troopers to move up to the middle section of platforms... but to keep firing. Only ten at a time can move up, but an additional five go with the Rebel Leader's encouragement and organization. The gunners provide covering fire, and the Rebel Leader stays down to coordinate his men.
The rebels claim twenty-one troopers as some ascend, and the gunners admirably take out twenty-five. The upper platform is starting to wilt with the intense heat of the plasma drills, but it holds as its meant to.
The pumping device starts creaking as it strains against its supports, rapidly losing strength due to the blistering waves of fire being slammed into its topmost sections. Next the soldiers will turn their attention to the supports, it seems...

Gremon is going to launch a Coup de Grace, plunging his knives downwards into your chest. He is not even phased by the massive casualties that his army is taking...
Still beset by soldiers, Wraith has the opportunity to act. Ker'Raos doesn't.
Unfortunately, Gremon strikes first. On top of his Coup de Grace, Gremon uses the Force to enhance his strength with Blow. He plunges his knife down, slashing across your ribcage as you try to stay clear, inflicting 9 damage with his jagged knives.
Then you perform your Draw and attempt to skewer him in the face with a Strike. He Dodges, cocking his head to one side as the lightsaber ignites directly next to his face. He steps back, evading your blade.
"How does such scum wield a noble weapon?" Gremon asks, preparing for your next attack.
Wraith shishkabobs his two troopers with no problem, then comes under fire. 16 damage from the troopers, putting you at a -2 penalty.
Ker'Raos executes another Defensive Leap, agilely springing about to avoid being shot. He takes 12 damage regardless.
The Royal troopers finish up their task this turn, their focused fire tearing into the supports with little difficulty. It only takes a moment for the pumping machinery to tear free of its weakened supports and melting pipes, dropping rapidly towards the bottom of the shaft. It collides with the safety doors at the bottom of the pit, resulting in a brilliant explosion of powdered glass and sparks. The safety door is wrenched out of its frame and pulls the ice it is constructed into with it, effectively destroying the lower platforms as they get pulled downwards too. Where the ice cracks, dark water spouts through and immediately floods where the lower platforms used to be.
The Rebel Leader had fled, along with the Gunners from the North and ten rebels apiece from the West and South. The rest are caught in the explosion and subsequently drowned...
Those that survived attempt to return fire, killing ten Royal troopers. The Rebel Leader himself slays three.

The pumping machinery is sinking through the shattered safety doors and into the abyss, but before it does so the top slams into one side of the pit and drags itself along, taking out the Westside upper platforms.
Dak rises as his other sabre flashes brilliant white into his empty hand. "Through years of training, the will of the Force, and a damn stubborn streak," Dak answers with a growl. "Prince, prepare yourself. You're gong to meet Tsa'Dis."
With that, he lunges at Gremon, slashing with his sabers.
Attack with Quick Attack (I believe it works with sabers, if I'm mistaken, then a Strike), Defend against his attack.
Your lightsabers hum sharply as you thrust them towards the Prince with your Strike, but he ducks underneath your attack and comes up between your arms, hooking your wrists with his knives and forcing them outwards with his Parry. This one is intelligent, Dak; he didn't try blocking the lightsabers with his knives.
"I think not," Gremon responds.
One of your snap-swings cuts into a trooper's shoulder but does not kill him, Wraith, but the other cuts into a trooper's chest cavity and brings him down. Defend goes well, but you take 6 damage, giving you the -3 penalty.
Ker'Raos activates Sidestep and makes a Defensive Leap. He takes 11 damage.
The troopers decide to target what remains of the rebels accompanying the Rebel Leader. Their onslaught takes out the majority of that group as the Rebel Leader and his three remaining rebels head to the East platforms. They return fire, claiming six.
The rebels on the west platforms frantically move as the machinery tears down the west wall of the pit, sinking deeper into the water. They high-tail it South, where the troopers will have trouble hitting them. They kill fifteen troopers as they move. The rebels already south fire upwards through the holes that the plasma drills left, taking out another ten, including two of Wraith's opponents.
