Xavier will use Dodge for defense.

He will then fire another shot at the pirate he injured.

You Dodge, strafing around the pirate's shots with abnormal speed, but one of the bolts fizzles a little too close. You take 2 damage. But then you fire back, this time striking his throat with one of your shots on a 17. He collapses.

Trax and Hoondan calmly sidestep incoming fire while Prassk ducks down. Prassk and Hoondan stay clear, but Trax takes 4 damage. Irked, Trax pours his short bursts into the pirate that nipped him, killing him with a 5 and a 19. Prassk sprays his target to death, while Hoondan just narrowly misses.

The remaining pirate throws down his gun in defeat, surrendering.

"Please, don't kill me!" he pleads.

Xavier lowers his gun and begins to walk forward. He commands ten more slaves to come around and secure the guns. He walks forward towards the pirate,

"Open the armory now" Xavier commands him.

The pirate watches as the slaves secure the dropped blasters of his fallen companions.

"What happens if I do?" the pirate asks.

Xavier begins to answer his question as a Jedi should. Then before he can open his mouth he feels the neurons his arm begin to fire and it raises. It is not Xavier's mental command doing so but something else.

Xavier concentrates on the man. Who is he to ask such questions. Who is he to question Xavier. He doesn't have time for this nonsense. The edge of Xavier's vision begins to blur. He begins to squeeze his hand. He feels the force pushing through him in way he had not felt before. He feels without touching the pirate physical clench of something gripping his organs.

Once again Xavier's body reacts without his choosing and in a calm voice words escape his mouth that are not his own, "You should be more concerned about what happens if you don't."

Xavier is using grip on him.

The pirate collapses to his knees in agony as you telekinetically begin to crush something vital in his chest. He gasps, hoarsely saying that he will open up the armory.

You feel strange, Xavier. Never before have you used this power in such a way. Cabas taught you the ability for the purpose of halting runaway targets... but not for torture.

At the sudden realization of what he is doing Xavier's head moves slightly and he releases the hold retracting his arm lightly. He takes a deep breath, Cabas would be disappointed he used this ability the way he did.

Now was not the time to dwell on it though.

"Hurry up and open the door."

The pirate coughs but hurriedly gets to the control panel. He swipes a keycard on the control panel, punches in a set of security codes, and opens the blast door. It gives a hiss as the locks depressurize and the thick metal door slides away.

Prassk grabs the pirate by the back of the neck and slams his face into the wall, pressing the nozzle of his blaster into the pirate's skull.

"What to do with you..." Prassk mumbles.

"He is an unarmed prisoner we will not kill him," Xavier tells Prassk. He still reeling from what he had just done.

He motions for the rest of the slaves to come from around the corner and arm themselves.

"But we can not have him alerting anyone, break his com unit, and shut him in the armory when we are done."

Prassk grumbles, lowering his blaster, but keeps the pirate pinned.

The armory is a gold mine of weaponry. It easily stores hundreds of blasters, all hanging on racks or stashed in crates, ranging from light pistols to blaster carbines of all different makes. Most are outdated models, but all are in working order and fully charged. From here the slaves take their weapons, all opting for the burst-fire action of the carbines.

Further back in the armory is where all the special stuff is. Trax finds himself a heavy assault rifle. Prassk gets two light repeater pistols of Trandoshan design. Hoondan picks up a high-powered disruptor rifle. In addition to the higher quality weapons.

Near those are the explosives and heavy weapons, mostly concussion rifles and grenade launchers. There are also three gun emplacements that can be set up and operated by two people- an anti-armor projectile rifle, a electromagnetic wave emitter, and a heavy repeater. Trax assigns six of the slaves to carry the equipment for the gun emplacements and arms them with concussion rifles.

But none of those interest you. Blasters just aren't your thing.

In the very back, hovering on a pedestal... is a lightsaber.

Xavier sees the lightsaber, and without hesitation drops blaster in his hand. He walks and over and examines the lightsaber. The design of its hilt, reaching out his hand he picks it up and ignites it checking out the burning light that erupts from it.

The lightsaber is cylindrical and simplistic, its energy blade emitted as a pale shade of blue. It activates via button and has a magnetic belt clip. Overall, it is very battered looking.

"Is that yours?" Trax asks.

But you know exactly who's it is. Not only do you recognize this lightsaber, but the style of its construction more or less matches the lightsaber that has replaced it.

This is Friste Tem's lightsaber from his days as a Jedi Knight.

Xavier moves the blade around lightly never taking his eyes of the blade. Even though it is not the one he has built the weapon still feels like an extension of his arm.

"No this blade belongs to someone who is dead."

He takes a moment longer to stare at the blade before deactivating it, and attaching it to his belt.

"It is time to move out people, it is time to end this."

Xavier takes the lead with Prassk. Hoondan, and Trax by his side. He walks upright, and power behind everystep for now he has not just a weapon but his weapon. He looks over to Trax to check and see how the alien is holding up. Then he tells him to take the lead again.

Just before you leave the armory, Prassk makes a delightful find. He shoves out a heavy device on the ground. It is rectangular and bulky, plugged up to a (barely) portable power generator. He fiddles with it for a second, then turns it on. A wall of energy extends from it.

Prassk recognizes them as energy shields that his pirate clan used to deploy in fights before Svidrigailov destroyed them and forced the captives into slavery.

"We can use these," Prassk says. "It'll save lives."

Once Trax assigns a few slaves to carry these energy shields, he puts himself at the head of the slave army. They follow him as silently as before, though there is no need for secrecy now. Shots have been fired and Frost would have sensed trouble...

Trax leads everyone a short distance from the armory to the Grand Staircase of The Trade, a wide staircase that leading up to Level 3.

"No longer do we climb these stairs as slaves!" Trax bellows, cocking his rifle. "We climb them as free beings! Free and triumphant!"

Xavier is very pleased with Prassk's discovery. "Good job Prassk."

At the stairs Xavier waits for Trax to finish, "Everything up to now has been a cake walk, but from now one things will get harder. Stay together fire as a group. Let us finish this."

With that Xavier will motion for Trax to begin the climb.

The heavy weapons users and those carrying the energy shields remain in the back, away from the danger.

Once you start ascending the stairs, one of The Trade's first traps is triggered. You and about sixty of your men make it up onto the staircase before an enormous laser wall ignites at the bottom of the stairs, separating you from the rest of your men.

Two turrets extend themselves from wall panels on either side of the stairwell, and twenty-five pirates appear at the top of the stairs with blasters at the ready.

"Orders, sir?" Prassk asks.

Can Xavier use Master Saber Throw to try and take out the two turrets?

If so he will if not could he possible use Master Jump to try and get to the top of the stairs quicker than the rest of the group.

Change of plan

Xavier whispers, "Wait for the signal then open fire."

Xavier holding his hands up begins to walk up the stairs. He talks to them, "Hold your fire I am unarmed I only wish to speak."

When he reaches the top of the stairs he will look for the control panel that control the turrets and the Laser Wall.

They are not listening, Xavier. You are standing at the front of an army of full-armed, rebellious slaves. Not a good situation for talking.

In any case, there are no controls for either. You suspect it is all controlled from the bridge.

Also, Master Jump moves no faster than walking.

Drat foiled yet again.

How about Master Saber Throw can that be used to take the turrets out?
