No, DC canon is actually the highest form of DC canon. MM suffers from the "Worf Effect" meaning he always always loses in fights because writers want to show off how powerful a new bad guy is. Outside if MM's own comics I'd like to see a half dozen feats where he beats someone above, say, Magneto's level.
