Yet some scholars believe that the 2012 year marked the end of a whole cycle for the Mayans, not "Doomsday". Yes, I do know that aspects of the ancient Mayans still live on, I know a guy who speaks a Mayan dialect.

I wouldn't worry about 2012 though, not from a Mayan Doomsday point at least.

I am of the understanding that certain Mayan calendars continued after the end of 2012, no?

Irregardless...."prophecies" of such proportions have existed for millennia, so I shall continue to live out my life and not worry....

the bible says that thw world will end in 2012. many think that when it doesnt christanity will be done with and thrown aside, what do you think will happen?
