At least they do in the Netherlands, so the search results stay for this country. Meaning either your conclusion is wrong or perhaps that Dutch people are genetically different then people in other nations...

There would be no reason for our species to sorta "phase out" the homosexuality gene. Reproduction is not necessary for our individual survival. As a whole it is, but not the individual.
For example, I don't need to reproduce and have kids to survive in this world. If that were the case, where I needed to have sex and reproduce or I would die..then maybe the trait would have died off at some point during some evolutionary stage.
I think the lesbian fetish is played up quite a bit though, it would turn me on to watch it, but it isn't my porn of choice lol.

The way I see it, men and women are attracted to the other sex...having sex. Women are most likely the weird ones for not liking it, due to the whole history of opression to women, as well as state law etc banning homosexuality simultaneously neglecting women.
