STAR WARS: RETROSPECTION- Brothers

Only 6 damage to the Creature this time as one of his shots simply bursts against a thick armor plate instead of inside of what little flesh the monster possesses. As you move into position, he fires one last time- just before the Creature reaches him. It takes 12 damage- putting it up to 43 damage... and then down to 38 as it regenerates some of its scorched flesh.

You are in position just as the Creature reaches Einar. Instead of clashing with the young princeling, it unhinges its jaw and spews forth a wall of blue flame... which you are in the path of! Einar and yourself are both under attack.

Melkor will try to get away from the path of attack. Did Einar noticed him?

Einar is rather preoccupied, so no.

Oh, I'm sorry- the Agility roll check for Heavy Weapons is only part of the new system. For this it is more 'do you want to dodge or not.'

The Creature rolls very well, unfortunately- the damage is halved to ten by your dodge but now Einar and Melkor are both on fire! Einar does not stop to put it out, deciding to fire again as the Creature heals some of its damage...

If Melkro fires at Einar, is he far enough to avoid the Creature?

The Creature is going for Einar rather than Melkor, so yes.

"Brother, help me!" Einar pleads.

"Why should I , murdered?!" Shouts Melkor back, though there are some doubts in his mind.

"Someone has turned us against each other!" Einar shouts as he shoots again- another 12 damage to the Creature. "I'm still your brother!"

Does Einar seem sincere?

Melkor will shoot at Creature, though, seeing as it is threat as well.

At the moment he seems desperate.

You roll a 15! A perfect 4 damage to the Creature as your light pistol has trouble punching through its armor. But every point helps... Einar shoots again and it is up to 66 damage.

However, it takes a swipe at you...

Damm, I wanted the creature to be between Einar and me!

You would need to make an Agility roll to maneuver yourself behind it, but this monster is highly agile despite its size.

Is Einar injured much? Preferable outcome of this fight would be for Creature to die and Einar to be seriously weakened.

Melkor goes to compete with the Creature on terms of Agility... Melkor rolls 6, the Creature rolls 20. Oops. It then rolls 13 and slashes Melkor across the chest with one of the blades grafted into its arm. 8 damage.

But then Einar and Melkor together take one final volley on the Creature... Einar riddles it with bolts, but it is Melkor that gets the final shot! As it closes in on him, Melkor puts a bolt right into its skull... and it keels over, something giving out in its brain.

"Finish it!" Einar shouts, as he puts out the fire on his uniform.

Does Einar seem much more injured than Melkor? Perhaps there is opportunity to grab his gun.

Not too badly, but you and your friends did score some hits on him, and he was on fire for a short time...
