Actually i am playing the game, i picked it up expecting to play as someone who is "supposedly" on Sephiroths level, thought id be literally ripping through crowds of guys instantly 'Dynasty Warrior' style, but dissapointed im playing as some guy jumping from ledge to ledge climbing walls, and it even takes time just to defeat 4 guys
Sephiroth is faster then Kain, even Sephiroth weak remnant is faster then Kain. Sephiroth will make chop suey out of Kain, then as Kain tries to reform, Sephiroth freezes him, and keeps him in his freezer for awhile.

this is Kains teleport speed, 1 second to fade out, then another second just to fade in, that isnt instant, as soon as Sephiroth sees him fading out, he'll prepare, and as soon as he sees him start fading in, he'll move behind him then cut him up.
Regular humans are 1 hit kills in FFVII, so kain has to use spells to defeat 4 guys fast? 15 seconds is not really fast to kill 4 humans, Sephiroth would annihilate all 4 in a second or less.
In FFX if you reach about half way in the game, come back and fight regular ppl you 1 hit kill them as well.
