The surfer does fight starships moving at light speeds. SURFER IS MUCH FASTER THAN SUPES but since speed blitz is off their wont be any need for speed. The surfer could phase through superman(it wont kill him but it would hurt alot) or simply go all out and blast him to death, or encase him in a shell of unbreakable ethel energy and leave him to thor when(if) he breaks out. Their are so many ways for the surfer to win this fight by himself if he fights smartly that he does not need thor. Supes one shotting surfer is INSANE.

SS is a bad match up agaisnt BA IMO, not only does BA have the striking power,h2h skill and combat speed over Norin but his power is backed by magic. There isnt a single disadvantage to exploit unlike with Supes. Supes could take Thor after a hard earned fight, SS is the weak link here...his lack of h2h skill or combat speed are just a huge issue especially agaisnt a guy like BA.

I don't know how many times this needs to be repeated but I'll say it again...TRAVEL SPEED DOES NOT EQUAL COMBAT SPEED. Even if SS has greater flight speed there has been nothing to suggest his level of h2h skill,combat speed or striking power are even comparable to Clark. Sure SS has crazy matter manip and energy versatility...hell he even has some of the best durability ive ever seen for a top tier but the point still remains that he has no awnser for Supes in close quarters.On that note, Supes has been shown to be highly resilent to the effects of K-nite to the point where it was almost negated. I find it funny how that argument is always brought up in every"Supes vs SS"thread even though the forum rules clearly stipulate "full capcity".
SS will need to fight from a considerable distance to be fully effective..the second the gap is closed its handily in clarks favor.

Current Surfer is just, power wise, too much for anyonei this match, minus maybe Thor, who seemed Bad ass before being ko-ed by Rulk.
Surfer have combat speed feats, ftl reflex, and most importantly, the possibility to wtfpwn Sups in two attacks max.
And don't forget: Thor can drain energy too.

Again, h2h skills.combat speed and striking power that are comparable. FTL reflexes dont mean much if its never applied in close quarters and to this date i dont see any feats to suggest SS is even as quick as CA h2h.
