Scans. They were right at the sun...when max Lord showed the fight, the sun was right at them.

Superman slapped the kryptonite out of her hands before she got the chance to use it.

It was on Newsarama or the DC Boards. Pretty sure Philo or someone can confirm. It's not surprising though. That artist spiced things up.

Superman is overwhelmingly stronger than Diana. That's not even debatable. Even under Rucka, he snapped her wrist through the bracers by gripping too hard and temporarily knocked her out in one hit. Going toe toe to toe with Superman is suicide for Diana if he's pissed.

standard load-outs, he takes it at least 8/9-10 imo, though probably more.

yes, "barely", and a "barely" holding back diana against a weakened superman still barely survived an encounter that she was losing. killing lord was the only way to stop him.

I like how Superman's magic weakness evaporates magically. Pun intended.

I'd imagine a pissed Diana could go for his jugular again with her tiara. Or attack his tendons directly like she did when she fought Genocide.

I'd imagine a pissed Diana could just fight him straight-up and it'd be almost a toss-up.

Possibly, but she has the means and knowledge to deal grevious injury to him by attacking his vitals with a magical bladed object, which would mess him up a helluva lot more than just punching and kicking him, though her punches and kicks are more than strong enough to hurt him, anyway.

With her extra gear, it ceases to become fair for Kal unless he gets amped by the sun.
