Magical lightning isn't some auto-win against superman.

Also before you believe whatever blue said about sunlight, superman was affected by kryptonite there. Here is an actual sun amped superman nearly killed by synthetic kryptonite.

Am a big fan of Superman, but it's absurd for him to use that pic in regard to WW not being able to damage Superman with Zeus's lighting, just because WG couldn't hurt Connor.

There were multiple reasoning why it failed.

Hell, with that logic, i guess Superman is even weaker than Connor, since Connor was able to punked Prime after Prime's returned after Legion of 3 Worlds.

Any avid reader would tell you that was a low showing on Prime's part.

This fight is pretty even no matter how you look at it.

I don't think Superman would use his freeze breath ALL the time at the beginning of the fight. Diana can stun him with a hit and lasso him for a few wins. But in most cases the freeze breath would come into play and beat Diana.

Ice isn't slowing down someone that can bust mountains apart...sorry my friend. She was already hit with ice breath and it did nothing to her. Hell, the ending result was Superman getting blitzed by Diana.

Freeze breath has stopped people like Bizarro and Superman gave a planet lobotomy with it. If by being blitzed you mean totally suckershotting him and then using his weak points to bring him down.
