Superman vs. Wonder Woman

I wasn't paying attention and copy/pasted the wrong thing. But if you actually paid attention(fixed it even before I saw your post), McDuffie said that's Wonder Woman's opinion.

And if you go to what was shoehorned into the comic, an actual showing(Kurt Busiek having the Trinity use Superman's reaction time) is going to hold more weight than lip service(Diana saying she's faster and Batman's "Bruce Lee or Usain Bolt?" comparison).

Dude you copy and pasted the wrong thing and now you're telling others to pay attention. Please tell me you are being ironic. I'll believe you, honest injun!

Both.

I think Superman has faster raw speed but when it comes to reflexes, Diana is unmatched.

She may have better trained muscle memory, but based on feats and TRINITY, Superman has the better reaction time and time perceptions.

BS. There is absolutely nothing that Diana can do or has done that Clark can't do much faster or easier.

lol

Clearly Clark doesn't have the potential to give birth and if Diana is a fully functional woman she can.

Considering her origin, are we sure she's fully functional, W?

Fair comment, in which case she needs her name change to piece of clay girl thing!

Can immortal amazons have children the old fashioned way instead of being formed from clay like she was? I was certain that they couldn't. But, anyway, I guess there are a few things she can do better than him. The same things that all women can do better than all men which I won't mention here because I think we all know what they are.

Except she has done things that he hasn't displayed yet.

Diana has equal reflexes to Superman? Um, no. Her reflexes are nowhere near as fast as his are. Also, making a statement like that kinda makes the rest of what you say less convincing.

Freeze breath or not, going all-out or not, Superman still wins at least 9/10 and that's being really generous to Diana. Getting even 1 out of 10 would require some serious luck or PIS.

she has blocked many beams of energy simultaneously with her bracers. That's definitely far below nanosecond reaction times.

So for you to say nowhere as fast is a straight joke.

Also I know martial arts fairly well. And I know that Diana can counter Clark's punches with attacks of her own. Clark can't attack with punches and defend at the same time.

Diana still has the lasso and knows pressure points. The pressure points alone gives her a punchers chance. Meaning, if she lands a good one or two the tables are turned. A stun hit lasso follow is viable too.

Her chances are more than 10%, more closer to 40%.

Before the Amazons became immortal, they were enslaved by Herakles. The gods freed them on the condition they did not retaliate. They broke their end of the bargain. The Amazons were meant to be punished being banished on Paradise Island. Half the tribe decided to continue going after Herakles and his men(under command of Hippolyta's sister, can't remember her name), the other half took their "punishment" and became immortal on Paradise Island. The Amazons that left weren't immortal, but still survived to the present day, making a city(named "Bana-Mighdall"😉 in the Middle East(and ended-up worshiping a number of different goddesses from pagan religions through-out the Middle East). So, yeah, considering those Amazons weren't immortal, but survived to the present day.....how do you think they stuck around as a tribe? Oh and Artemis is a member of them. Also, for a while, Wonder Woman thought Herakles was her father and her mom lied to her about her birth and powers.

So, after learning Superman can also do pressure point attacks, you went from giving her 6/10 if he doesn't use freeze breath, to him getting at least 6/10 without freeze breath?

Sure I read the Kingdom.

Wonder if that ability has been lost in the DCNU

Same origin, but an alternate universe Diana. Although since they HAVE the same origin, I guess that's fair to use to say Wondy can get knocked up. Well, by someone who's soft tissue is invulnerable enough to handle penetration(which for us mortals would crush), and sperm cells strong enough to penetrate those eggs.

Yeah, good reversal take on the classic man of steel, woman of Kleenex take, be it intentional or not.

Larry Niven would be proud, later dude!

Not sure I want to ask.

Just one thing though, I thought Diana's origin was that she was a biological daughter, not a magical one. Didn't Hyppolyta give birth to her, literally?

That scan/interview actually states Wonder Woman is faster and she is faster. She also blocks heat vision attacks a lot better.

Good luck proving it.
