So then why would he want to avoid it, hes beaten the hulk yet hes still evasive of him. Its likly Marvel is implying that hulk can beat Thanos....so then Thanos evasive nature about the hulk is motivated by the possibility of losing. So essentially he is scared to fight hulk.
Clearly he's in no danger of losing to the Hulk, as much as you'd like to say otherwise.
There is a on panel verification that he wished to avoid the Hulk which is no doubt motivated by the fear of losing, regardless if its a reality or not the writer and Marvel are obviously pointing it out as a possiblity. No matter how anyone tries to twist this, Thanos is afraid to confront the hulk..thats what the writer was trying to illustrate.

That would stand better if it werent "on panel" when Thanos has been shown to slap the hulk around like nothing. But that itsnt the case. Hes has beaten the hulk pretty easily.
Thats like superman saying "i dont think i can fly" then in the next page you see him flying.

I think that Hulk losing to Thanos holds more water then Thanos not wanting to confront Hulk.

Or like SS going past the speed of light yet not speedblitzing Thanos for whatever reason....the writer already confirmed Thanos fears why cant anyone else. Oh and im aware of Thanos defeating Hulk and 3 other tought dudes, still doesnt change the fact that he is afraid of possibly losing to him.
And u cant say Thanos is not afraid of Hulk when he said"I wish to avoid the Hulk" which is obviously motivated by fear. On panel evidence friend, but look how bout we call it a day and just agree that Thanos was afraid of the hulk. Doesnt mean hulk will win but at least acknowledge Thanos is frighten by the possibility of losing to Hulk.
Originally posted by The Great GalenWhat the hell,Thanos doesnt lose to him. Thanos and Surfer both took on Odin while the Surfer was friggin oneshotted, wake up and smell the roses.
Then technically SS should beat the living shit outta Thanos...yet Thanos has this"implied"power that is greater then SS inspite of not having on panel feats to back it up.
