MYTH

Surfer was cut into pieces and was still alive

First the evidence that the unilord saga is a What If story, here is the scene where surfer attempted to enter the unilord universe in SS v3 112

Now what is revealed later in SS v3 114 is that surfer failed to enter the unilord universe and its all a What If scenario

Now the reason why that scene can't be used as a proof that surfer can live even cut into pieces is that because HE DIED and his soul was absorbed into a blackbody and he shattered into pieces after that.

Unilord made the union and called it Black Surfer

After the retcon of superman's origin and powers in IC, which renders the old explanation of his powers that he uses TTK to lift objects so that they don't crumble under their own weight is invalid. Superman never had TTK in modern continuity, confirmed here

In the subsequent showdown we, again, painfully see that the Serpent is nowhere near continent/Earth sized, relative to Thor [thus the bull being used as bait, lol]:

It is flat-out stated that space [and time] aren't the same in the Void [as if this wasn't ridiculously obvious anyway - when Thor fishes the goddamn Serpent in a boat using a bull from its supposed Earth-sized proportions]:
In the Void [as in the New Gods world] the normal limits and proportions of time/space don't apply. That's why, eventough the Serpent was small enough for Thor to stand face-to-face with him, and get fished out with a bull, he was capable of encoiling the Earth, and crushing it with his etheral form [as seen in the normal space/time] from the Void.
It's a non-feat.
This feat has been one of the most baffling, well kept lies in the history of KMC.

Myth:Hal Jordan's good side born as Marty beat JLA with hal's ring.

You know the green lantern fans always brought up this instance as how hal can beat entire JLA and especially superman by creating kryptonite.

What they forget to mention that it wasn't Hal's ring which did all that work, it was Parallax's power which he left in the sun.

As confirmed by Parallax here.

Its not a usable feat for Green Lanterns.

Myth: Majestic rearranged the entire solar system by moving "most" of the planets.

Majestic only moved two planets, Earth and mercury to a wide orbit around Jupiter. He dismantled saturn's rings off-panel, turned Jupiter into a solid planet, gave mars a set of rings and deflected a comet to add another planet in the solar system.

That's all he did.

Myth: Thor created a vortex strong enough to contain Life Bomb which was going to destroy 1/5th of the universe.

First, the life bombs were designed to start a chain reaction which was the reason the 1/5th of the universe cease to exist.

If it was blown up pre-maturely, it didn't do anything at all. Here Photon destroys one without any problem.

Surfer destroys one

Captain America destroys one even after it was starting to go off without anything occuring

And what did Thor do when he contained the life bomb

Cut it off from the rest of the universe, thus negating the chain reaction which was the reason it would have destroyed 1/5th of the universe. Its not even remotely as impressive when seen in proper context.

Thor corps bolstered the boundaries of multiverse with a combined Godblast

First thing, Demonstaff only weakened the boundaries of realities of a single universe

Confirmed here again

How tough these walls were? Not very tough it seems

In fact BRB smashed Demonstaff's staff which was cutting through these barriers with just a hammer toss

Then the Thor Corps used their "combined" energies to bolster these walls

Here is the funny thing, that thor wasn't the present thor. It was a Thor randomly summoned from the time-stream which was overlapping already by the combined "energies" of BRB, Thunderstrike and Dargo Ktor

Its not usable for Thor and they certainly didn't bolster the boundaries of multiverse.

I'm not a Thor fan in any sense, but is that not still the same Thor even if he's from another time? It's not an alternate reality, not a different dimension - just Thor but not from the present. I mean, if Thor was sitting around Asgard four months ago, got summoned to help, did his feat, and then went back to his place in time - it's still Thor. Or am I not seeing something?
