but where did this debate come from, Raziel is not even in this fight until the end...the planar portals in the game respresent checkpoints however what is possibly canon is that Raziel loses the ability to go into material at will when the portals no longer excist after Elder God takes them away and Raziel then has to use bodies to enter material realm

but how is this relevent to kain gauntlet......

Can you show me a readable scan of the manuel? The words "through force of will" doesnt necessarily mean he can move anywhere, and anytime he wants through realms, If Raziel states he needs to go through a portal, it means he needs to go through a portal, and the fact that EG takes away the portals, then Raziel has to find a different method to enter the material realm means that portals exists, and that obviously Raziel cant enter the material realm on a "whim"
