i think the revolving partners adds a very tricky aspect to it... people could end up having to team up with people they don't want to, and i think it will be interesting to see how its handled...

It puts a different angle on the debate as well. Don't talk down an opponents' character's power or feat without being prepared to be fed those words when that same character is on your team in a later round.

hmm, what counts as tech in this tourney? is ww's lasso 'tech', or just weapons? and do the weapons need to be ww level? if so, she won't be able to have her lasso or bracelets . . .
to be clear though--i could drfat ironman and get his armor cuz it's below ww level, right?
btw--ww level is a nice level. VERY powerful, but not in the retarded ranges. allows for LOADS of freedom and creativity. i'm definitely entering this thing. 🙂

Weapons and tech will be grouped together for the purposes of this tourney.
Yes you could have Ironman's armor if you wanted to.

ahh, so wonder woman would NOT come with her lasso and bracelets? mar-vell would NOT have the nega bands? a low-level gl (were they legal) would not have a ring?? loads of other examples i could come up with but i don't want to steal thunder. it will be tough deciding on levels for weapons.

Obviously for some people they are only useful with weapons but generally if a person has used the weapon their entire career and is still only WW level then it will be allowed.

My above post though is basically me trying to tell what my general ruling will be on the matter. If someone has used a particular item as standard equipment and still remains at WW level then I'll generally allow it in.
Only in the most extreme cases may I ban a weapon or tech, like motherboxes and such. Cause WW level is a hard to define somewhat so I will allow some wiggle room.
