I have a question. How many of the people b*tching about how things could be better have actually hosted a successful tourney themselves? The process is a lot more difficult than most of you realize, and there's entirely too many options available in the world of comics to make any tourney system perfect.
If you don't like the tourney format or host then shut the Hell up and don't participate or use those things that you consider "loopholes" yourself and show everyone else the error of their ways. But either way quit f*cking things up for the rest of us...

I'm assuming Evangel hosts these tournaments not just for the enjoyment of those participating, but for the enjoyment of the forum as a whole. I'm also assuming she welcomes interest from non-participants as well as participants as they iirc will be voting in this tournament too.

I think goober summed it up well, though more vehemently than I would've worded it. Everyone would do well to read it, or my post on the last page. And please stop trying to construe every little thing as either an insult, or an opportunity to twist an argument in your favor...and that goes to several people. It IS possible to do this without resorting to underhanded tactics and negativity, and while being respectful.
To my knowledge, no one has ever won a tourney who whined an insulted his way there. And beyond that, I'd kinda like to have a tournament at all.

And just so you know, this isn't really addressed at you. I've seen you and Evangel go at it a little but that's actually pretty normal for host's and participants(me and batdude got into it a couple of times actually). I'm talking about the guys that've been causing problems intentionally just to be a pain.
