Capt Spaulding and Mr. Biscuits will be dropped if they don't draft today.

Here, let's dead the argument

Evangel are powers determined by who's body and mind you are using?

Or do mergers automatically get all the powers from those amalgamated that don't stack (as well as the ability to use them as well as their amalgamated partners).

Will I need to specify that my body is Hulk's to get his strength and such

or is it assumed that with my body being Kent's he obtains Hulk's strength and such.

Well... I don't what the issue is. Just have Dr. Fate's mind in Hulk's body. You would have Hulk's powers, Dr. Fate's magic powers and Dr. Fate's mind to use them.

If Dr. Fate get's mad in battle, then you can argue that his body (aka Hulk's body) get's physically stronger.

I believe Thor used his Godblast to beat him?

Anyway, please stop asking about Mogo, I will post my thoughts and ruling on him later today after I've gathered and seen all the evidence.

I believe you objected to metron, deadman, and the doctor being 6's. I'd like to hear your thoughts on them.

My objection to Metron is that his Mobius chair seems a bit to powerful for this category. Deadman I have no objection to, he's really useless without mind control. I never objected to the Doctor in the first place, but he does seem to powerful.

I'll paste this from my team-post in the draft thread. It's a summation of my defense of the Doctor, since Kandy mentioned him:

As for the Doctor, Stacks' universe-creation claim was incorrect, Classic Strange is roughly his equal and is being allowed for 6 points, and I'd remind everyone that he might not get wins in a heads-up match against Classic Strange, Fate, Mogo, possibly even my own Thor. And a lot of his "deus ex machina" powers are only available through purchases that are too expensive for me to afford. If anyone has further complaints, I'm willing to discuss it, but that should lay the matter to rest.

Also, if Kandy has problems with Doctor at 6, I have problems with Classic Strange at 6.

😛

So the cat-fight might be best avoided, no?

😉

What are the powers of his mobius chair? Even though I know a wikipedia link is posted, I prefer to hear it from an experienced user who knows of the character.

I don't know why he would want metron. Trickster didn't draft time manipulation, nor did he draft bfr. Do you feel metron should be 10 points at least?

Everyone I want your opinion on this. Your opinion will determine whether or not I act. I am thinking of changing Darkseid from "Darkseid as seen in the last three years" to "Post-Crisis Darkseid" for 20 points.

No, I am not accepting new submissions for 10 and 20 point categories. Just simply changing one that is currently in the roster. Its just an idea, and I want to see everyone's opinion on it.

Where can I see the 'current' list of characters?

1 Point – Street Class:
“no superhuman powers with no enhanced meta-level or higher gadgets/devices”
Batman, Black Panther, Captain America, Daredevil, Nightwing, Black widow, Green Arrow, Hawkeye, etc

2 Points – Meta Class:
“above Batman, Black Panther, Captain America, but below Iron Man”
Spiderman, Cyclops, Angel, Mr. Fantastic, Beast, Gambit, Venom, Carnage, Jubilee, various X-men (check with me), Mystique, etc

4 Points – Enhanced Meta Class:
Spider-Man to Power Girl/War Machine (included here is Aquarian)
Various “Regular” Iron Man Armors and various remote controlled armors, Dr. Doom, War Machine, Warbird, Non-phoenix Jean Grey, Storm, Colossus, Thing, Human Torch, She-Hulk, etc

5 Points – Prime Meta Class:
Extremis Iron Man, Hulkbuster Iron Man, Wonder Woman, Absorbing man, Professor Xavier (in wheel chair), Vision, All incarnations of Hulk (except World War Hulk), Clone Thor aka Clor, Hercules, Exemplars (Regular Juggernaut, Bedlam, Conquest, Carnivore, Inferno, and Tempest)

6 Points – Herald Class:
Flash, Ultron, She-Ultron, Sentry, Green Lanterns and Sinestro Corps members, World War Hulk, All Heralds of Galactus (except Morg with Waters of Life), (non-Casey) Majestic, Thor, Current Superman, Warlock (automatically comes with soul gem), Engineer, Grey Gargoyle, Mimic, Rogue, Super-Adaptoid, The Exemplar “Stonecutter”, and 8th Day Juggernaut, etc

10 Points – Enhanced Herald Class: you may choose only among the following:
Apocalypse, Champion (no gem), Count Nefaria, Despero, Graviton, and Thanos (pre-resurrection). Included in this category are the following Infinity Gems (Mind Gem, Power Gem, and Space Gem. The soul gem comes automatically with Warlock, and you cannot pick the soul gem by itself. Reality and Time Gems are banned).

20 Points – Prime Herald/Low Skyfather Class: you may choose only among the following:
Amazo, Darkseid (as he has appeared in the last 3 years), Doomsday (Hunter/Prey), Fernus, Galactus (starving, e.g., FF #243), Hela, Morg with Waters of Life and Power Cosmic, Pluto (Marvel), Runner (no gem).

Fine by me. Although FTR IMO 20pts for Post Crisis DS is about 10pts over spent.

His not that 😎

He belongs in the '10 points,' tops.

Kool but could I just draft Hulk's mind in Hulk's body and retain knowledge of Fate's magic? I'd rather have Hulk's mind because

Fate's a pretty brutal dude, but he's no Hulk.

Metron created the technology known as the boom tube. The chair is just an improved version of that. It has a few other powers, but it's mainly just a means of transportation.

And I drafted him, because he's the greatest inventor of the new gods.

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeelllll......Be my guest. 🙂

#6 Each team is allowed only one amalgam. These cannot be pre-existing amalgams from cross-overs. They are your own home-made amalgam. Amalgam combinations from the comics, e.g.Doom/Surfer, will not necessarily be like how they appeared in the comics. Amalgam powers are not cumulative, i.e., merging Wonder Man and Wonder Woman does not give you CL 200 strength; you are simply whoever is the strongest in their respective power categories. You must designate whose mind and body the amalgam possesses. All amalgams will have full knowledge of how to use all their powers.

#2 Characters will act in-character. If character nature dictates it, there can be in-fighting amongst team members despite the motivation. Warlock will only use the soul suck as a last resort against a ruthless villain who is killing his teammates, never on a hero. Same with Blackbolt’s scream or Thor’s godblast.

The mind being specified is there because different minds have different fighting styles, and preferences. I am not sure how often Hulk would use Dr. Fate's magic since he prefers to just hit people, especially World War Hulk. He may know he has magic powers, but he may just prefer to hit people instead.

If you are just using him because of his inventing skill then I don't mind. Also, be aware of additional costs. However, if King Kandy is objecting to that knowledge being above Herald level...

Also, are you objecting to Darkseid from past three years to Post-Crisis Darkseid or approving of it? And do you have any plans on using him?

Eh you have a point

Guess I'll go with Kent's mind in Hulk's body.

I mean Kent does have a higher body count then Hulk (well at least World War, thanks Cho) nowadays

I object to the characterization of his intelligence as above 'herald level'. I wasn't aware there was an intelligence cap. 🙄

So I'll ignore that part, since he has no basis to attack me on it and I'm taking the mobius chair as standard equip.

I have my own reasons for drafting who I did, and there is a method to this madness. 😉

What is the effect of the body choice?

What is the effect of the body choice?

Some "bodies" are better suited for combat than others. For example, if you drafted wheel chair Professor Xavier and Wonder Woman and merged them, then you wouldn't want Professor Xavier as a the body now would you?
