They're usually a week long and have multiple people debating. I haven't been in a non-partner tourney since I think '05

Does that include the 'casual' matches?

Are participants going to be penalized if they don't vote in matches that, frankly, don't even matter?

Oh, well damn. More time, I guess. Anyway, my vote is cast but I'll pay attention if more arguments are brought to bear. Honestly though, they've both said a lot so probably not much more is needed.
