ok, for the sake of argument, lets assume that dd's range>logan's, alright? now, that doesnt mean logan's is bad, its still very impressive... and then there's the fact that its going to take more (alot more) than a billy club to the back of the head to take logan down, matt is going to have to mix things up, and logan will sense matt long before matt is close enough to throw down...
also, how on earth did matt murdock get involved in a wolverine v frank thread?

Er you're OT people are saying his sense of smell is greater than DDs and therefore he should not get sneaked up on. Its not DD vs Wolverine.

This contradicted by the fact that he was able to smell Blackheart in humanform and im still yet to see Wolverine smell substances at DDs range. So basically you still got nothin.
