that was in addition to logan and the other x-men being convinced that cyclops was dark phoenix... his senses were being messed with from all sides... he didnt hear cyclops try to reason with him...

Im not missing anything, ive posted scans to show that regardless of how well his senses are supposed to be he can still be got at. These examples

nobody is saying he can't be got at. the question is what happens then?

I maintain, that when Logan "sniffs" they are not. He's always said that when people are hunting him or tracking him from downwind it's a lot harder for him to get a bead on them. And, Wolverine has enough showings of having superb senses of both hearing and smell to ignore them, especially given that his showings of enhanced senses are neither PIS nor in low numbers, AND that characters are supposed to be oprating at their best on these boards, I think it's safe to say his senses will pin Punisher down in a werehouse just fine.

I wasn't saying that we should ignore his senses. Just that, from time to time, the writers do.

Even if this is the recently downgraded Wolverine, I would advise Frank to run. I know he wouldn't though, and for that I take my hat off to him-even though it would coist him his life

You know what I fidn amusing is that Punisher supports love to uses current Logans healing factor, showing him getting machine gun ect. But then ignore how his senses of been potrayed recently.

The two have had a few brief skirmishes without a clear cut victory. In each fight, Castle admits it's in his best interest to get away than go for the kill. In a prolonged fight to the death, Wolverine would always win. Unless Castle's got the time, prep, and heavy artillery, he's got no real chance.

If his sense of smell is greater than DDs he would know that some people where there spying on him.....and they were in human form so theres a good chance they had a human scent. Yes but that is specific. From my understanding mastermind made Cyclops look like DP, that still doesnt mean his sense of hearing was affected. It was only affected specifically to do with Cyclops. For example Shadowcat saw what she thought was Cyclops but here vison wasnt blurred or anything.

After Cyclops activated the danger room then Wolverines sense of smell became messed up. Why are we going to assume that Wolverines haering was messed up, yeah it was messed up but only specifically to do with Cyclops. The illusion that was cast was not supposed to mess with Wolverines sense of hearing in general just to make Cyclops sound like and look like Phoenix.
