You have to declare it now. That goes for everyone.

Okie dokie. Metron is mind, Waverider is body. that means I get Metron's stuff, and Waverider's powers, right?

Also, the prep areas are declared, or do I get a combined area from all my guys?

Good question. I was wondering the same thing.

Evangel, do we get access to resources owned by our characters (and amalgam components)

What are you referring to exactly?

At most, you can buy
Prep Time, Lv. 3: Thirty-six(36) hours spent in either a mystic sanctum or scientific lab - 5 points

You would have to choose which. It would make sense of course to choose a lab that most suits your character.

During prep do characters work in a generic "lab or mystic sanctum" or do they work with the resources they would have.

ie Batcave, Fantastic Four's Lab, Fortress of Solitude, Sanctum Sanctorum and so on.

We should get resources of all guys IMO. or at least a designated guy.

just don't make like a ....ultimate nullifier Gatling cannon

"Generic" versions of both the lab and sanctum. Also let me remind everyone...

#3 The scientific lab and the mystic sanctum for prep are well equipped, but they do not house endless resources, e.g., building a giant attack craft or a huge army of robots.

AHEM. Do they have resources the character would normally have? IE: in my case, New God technology.

What all do they have?

Define well stocked.

Hate to be anal about this but if we're going to prep with people like Batman and . . . others, we need to know what's conceivable.

Ok, I see where this is going....

Let me say that if your character, if they choose to buy the necessary prep, will get the lab or sanctum they are most familiar with.

For example,

If you have Iron Man you can choose Tony Stark's workshop.
If you have Reed Richards, you can choose the Fantastic Four's Lab.
If you have Batman, you can choose the Batcave.
If you have Dr. Strange, you can choose the Sanctum Sanctorium.

If you have two characters (or an amalgam) on a team, ie Batman and Dr. Strange, then you must decide whether you want to prep in the Batcave or Sanctum Sanctorium. You can choose only one for the entire duration of the prep, and you cannot switch once you have declared which. No switching.

Also, the same rules still apply.

So no huge army of robot batmen, or huge army of Iron Man drones. The lab will be well equipped for your team, and nothing more.

Sounds good.

Well exactly what sort of equipment can be expected for the labs? You tell us they are "well-stocked" but it's really not possible to know what [plans will work if you don't tell us the limits.

I don't know if it's such a good idea for prep to be handled that way because of your point system. Think about it, Reed Richards is what a 2 point character? In a "generic" lab where he can't access his uber devices the point cost of a half an hour allows him to do quite a bit but is still proportional to the total pt cost paid for him. On the other hand, stick Reed Richards in the Baxter Building for a half hour and suddenly he gets a major power jump because of all the things that are already on hand that he doesn't have to spend time building...

Same thing goes for guys like Batman, Dr. Doom, etc.

Hush you, I approve of prep locale 100%. >_>

And normally stacked, as in no pre prepared items or specific one time devices at hand.
