i spoke to red before i made my post, and he didn't seem to oppose it...

if he and nj want to reassess their decision, then thats fine with me...

I've never seen Bart as Kid Flash use any number of the speed force tricks that Wally has been shown to use before. So even with the speed caps, Wally's still above the power limitations for this tourney.

Kid Flash on the other hand is only above the limits for this tourney (as far as I can tell) because of his speed. Outside of that, Jay is every bit as powerful as Bart, except with a lot more experience.

I understand where you're coming from with the "no Flash rule," but for someone who has actually drafted Jay himself, you sure are whining a lot about this. 😐

If you'd be so inclined, do you mind explaining to me why exactly you think Kid Flash is superior to Jay Garrick (outside of the speed issue)?

It seems to me that the issue here isn't "Flashes" in general, but rather, speed force users. I mean, technically, Jesse Quick isn't a Flash, but would she be allowable for this?

Also, Red initially approved Metron for Trick's usage in this tourney. It had to be banned by official vote. That shows a lot about what Red knows for power caps... baka

For what it's worth, I think this issue should be reexamined by Red or NJ.

Right... then why exactly was I bitched at about Makkari? I specifically brought him up because of the speed cap infringement.

However, I was told by a few that since his speed would be capped at the speed of light for this tourney, then he'd be alright.

that is PRECISELY the issue. it was stated in black and white THE ONLY ACCEPTABLE FLASH WAS JAY. it was unambiguous. the SAME RULE was reiterated by red just last week (friday i think) just before the last round of drafts. again, i WANTED to draft impulse, and couldn't. why would i rather have him than jay? simple: essentially the same powersets (though impulse is faster) but impulse endurance>jay's. easy to find at least 3 scans that show jay tiring rather quickly.

i've no problem with bart per se, in terms of power level, since he's capped. i DO have a problem with a very clear rule being thrust aside though. jesse quick would be fine afaik. she maxes out below jay from what i've read.

anyway, i am done with the issue. i don't think bart should be allowed. i'm against phylla too, but if marty requested her and was denied THEN goob requested and she was accepted, i'm REALLY against her. 😬

BTW is Metron still in this or has he been banned yet?

Also i'm going to add my vote against Phyla.

i still don't know if it's legal for pr to switch agine BACK to bart. pr, if you want to adjust the list and add him yourself, you can do so, but i'd love to hear an official okay from red on that one. 😬

take a close look at the list everyone. if i've missed some votes let me know and i'll adjust accordingly. the BIGGEST issue in my book is the weapons being allowed. initially there WAS a limit declared. the weapons were supposed to be 'wonderwoman level'. difficlut to gauge (i said as such when the rule was brought up) but things were supposed to be taken on a case-by-case basis.

the gems, the n-bands, and the q-bands are rather CLEARLY BEYOND that pre-conceived limit. 😬

If a character is above the caps pre-neutering, they should be banned.

This especially goes for Metron. I hope my name is up to ban him.

I could've sworn Metron was already banned...
