The Great Hunt - RP Thread

"Damn." The Jedi Master rolled forward under the bolts and sprang forward. He leaped for the higher platforms and once there reached out with the Force. He gripped the ship with the power of the Fore but felt Coryn fighting back. "No!" Denzral tried to shut the engines down. Nothing. The ship was just out of reach. "Coryn... I know you can hear me... don't do anything stupid."

Glenn and the rest of the masters and padawans were searching the Shadowlands, slowly, cautiosly. They hadn't found anything just yet, but he sensed his master, and the others who went in search of the Selkath, were in trouble.
He approached Master Marcross.
"Master, we have been walking around this place for a while now, and all we have found are Katarns and other predators not-related to the dark side. They are not in this area... but what if they are in the area where my master is looking for the Selkath? I think we should go help them..."

EDIT
---

Jel-Kor was looking at Karkarvos and David and was about to shout his idea... when suddenly he saw two more Terentatek approaching the zone from the darkness of the forest. His idea would be useless now.

*Be back in some minutes*

"Stupid? Whatever you say, my friend."

Coryn laughed, and felt the ship leave Kashyyk's atmosphere. Coryn finally uncloaked himself, and walked into the cockpit, much to the suprise of the trader.

"What the-?! What the hell are you doing on my ship, fish?!" The trader yelled, pulling out a blaster and shoving it in Coryn's face.

Coryn looked at the trader, his Force Vision taking him in. The Trader was a high shade of blue. Honest, good, rarely commited any atrocities in his life.

"This fish... Is commandeering your ship." Coryn sneered, and punched the trader in the face. The trader had no chance, and after a moment of thrashing about, was lifted into the air by a rather strong Force Choke.

"Good day, sir." Coryn laughed, and crushed the man's esophagus.
The trader fell to the floor, dead, and Coryn took his place in the seat, changing the ship's course for Dantooine.

Denzral watched the ship flash into hyperspace. Dantooine? That was the stupid thing I refered to. He turned and jumped back down to the landing pad... Tarentateck's!... Huh? Denzral walked rapidly over to the edge and could hear the creatures roar. He glanced around. A large ship feul tank was off to the side... he had an idea. 'Keep the Tarentatek's busy for a few minutes.' "Get out off the village!["Rhrrhllllllrr frhhrlln!"(the Force translated)]"

The Wookies which had started to gather the dropped shipments looked up. Then hurried across the square. A strange siren rang out.

Using the Force Denzral raised the Deuterium tank. Bolts popped, vines snapped. The tank floated across the village.

*What's Deuterium?*

(Supposedly ship fuel but then again... Its a ST thing and SW is a combination of Tibanna gas a some other stuff.)

*Okay... so what's your idea?*

('Drop the tank and blow them up. Use the Force to contain the explosion so we don't die. lol.'😉

*It would be a good idea if the Wookies didn't care about what happens to the forest*

"I know... I have felt it, too. They are in trouble... we're going to help them. We can't risk it."

Karkarvos watches Coryn scrape the Terentatek's arm with his lightsaber and then flee, knowing that their paths will cross again. Now, he must focus on the Terentatek. Extending a hand, Karkarvos retrieved Coryn's lightsaber and activated it, gathering the attention of the Terentatek.

"Foul beast!" Karkarvos says, raising his repeating pistol in the other hand. He fires multiple shots into the legs of the creature, the bolts bursting upon the flesh but doing little damage to the resilient flesh of the Terentatek. But he had its attention.

(Actually, there are 3 terentateks now, so.)

Then this is the initial Terentatek.

(should I carry out my plan.)

The freighter jerked out of Hyperspace, and Coryn found himself looking down upon the brown and green of Dantooine. Coryn slid into the atmosphere, landing the ship on a section of the Khoonda landing pad. Coryn rummaged through the supplies of the ship, finding a dark cloak to shroud his face, two blaster pistols, and he grabbed the light repeating blaster, and left the ship.

It was high noon on Dantooine, as the sun was directly above Coryn's head. A Twi'lek approached Coryn, a smile on his face. Only, when the Twi'lek was closer, the smile turned to a frown.

"You're not the one who owns this ship... Where's Jabar? What have you done with my friend?!"

Coryn waved a hand from under the cloak. "I am your friend, now. You will cater to my every need."

The Twi'lek smiled, "I will cater to your every need. Come, friend, I will show you to the merchants!"

Coryn inclined his head, and the Twi'lek led the way. Outside of the Landing Pad, a small Bizarre had been set up, and there were plenty of merchants selling everything Coryn needed.

"Thank you, Twi'lek. Leave." Coryn commanded, and the Twi'lek bowed and walked away.
Coryn turned back around, and started to walk through the many merchants, who were all shouting and yelling in his direction, hoping he'd visit them. Coryn chose a random merchant, and tossed a list at him, which held all of the components for a lightsaber.
"I need those. Now." Coryn stood still as the merchant read over it, and then glanced up at the Selkath, but quickly looked away, quite obviously spooked. The merchant ran to and fro, until he'd gathered all of the materials on the list.

"Thats, uh... Everything. 2000 Credits." The merchant held out his hand for the credits.

Coryn smiled, and waved his hand. "I have no credits. You feel sorry for me. You give me the items for free."
The merchant, who looked horrified that he was doing it, shoved the items into Coryn's hands.

"Take them, and peace be with you!"
Coryn inclined his head, shoved the items into a bag on the merchant's rack, and walked off with it, much to the dismay of the merchant.

That was quite easier than I thought it would be... But now I have to seek out crystals.

*Hmm... Okay, but you have to change the substance. Make it something non-explosive, or at least less explosive*

(Unless it is set off then it may just crush them. I'll empty it first somehow... suggestions?)

Nai'ada, a Twi'lek female and a worker and spotter for the local Hutt crime boss, saw how Coryn had aquired his resources. After contacting her boss by comlink she persued Coryn through the Bazaar. She wore black camba pants, and a lace top that showed much of her ample cleavage. She spotted one of her back-up's, a Ssi-ruuk. The lizard nodded humanly in her direction.

Coryn stopped for a moment, looked left, then right, and then continued on. His pace quickened as he rounded a corner, but stopped dead, turned, and drew his repeating blaster.

"You're following me. Why?" Coryn would ask the Twu'lek when she rounded the corner, only to bump into his blaster.

Nai'ada came face to face with the blaster. "I'm interested in you is all." The Twi'lek smiled, her blue skin creasing, she was about 29 years old by human standards. "I'm Nai'ada. Nada for short." She offered her hand. Carefully.
