Yeah, I'm rooting for Pens now, they're the only team left that I have any interest in. Sick of Detroit - They're the Yankees of hockey. Carolina bothers me. Chicago is alright but I think they have no chance against Detroit. So, go Pens.

they talked about how ever since their dad built the pond for them, Jordan and Eric have always been in a competition but no matter what, theyre always brothers in the end

then they talked about Gino awehuhs

Atleast the Red Wings build their team up through the draft and not sign every single free agent in sight.

at least we have two of the three goal leaders in the NHL

What does that have to do with anything?

just watch a game and youll see why

Ok?

Even though i despise them, i would have to agree, the red wings drafted well, players like zetterberg, datsuyk, franzen, lidstrom, none of them were drafted first round, not even 2nd, shows you this team knows how to pick em.

Great management, easily one of the best in the league.

Worst would be Kings.

They had a chance to grab the first Armenian NHL player, and chose not to. Big mistake. Every home game would have been easily sold out or close to sold out.

Ya, they have the best management now, but remember from 67-83 the red wings were one of the worst teams in the nhl, so it shows you, no team can stay in the bottom forever, eventually a team drafts one player which can create a franchise, jsut have to be patient, and plus from what i hear about the kings they have a good crop of young players.

I have high hopes for Frolov and Kopitar. Use to think Frolov would be the next Gretzky.

So is anyone paying attention to what is going on in Phoenix, i know Basillie is going about it the wrong way, but i think they should move the team from phoenix but not to hamilton i think it should go back to winnipeg.

isnt the fourth Staal brother on Pheonix?

Whether it goes to Hamilton, Winnipeg or Newfoundland the franchise is bound to make more money than they are in Phoenix. Bettman is being stubborn just for the sake of being stubborn. You tried it, it didn't work. Admit you were wrong and move the team where it can make money, for the health of the league if nothing else!

I think everybody forgets that its just not Bettmen making the decisions.

He's job is to please the board of governors, which is the owners of hockey teams.

It wasn't just his decision to have the NHL in cities in the States, it was also the owners.

People don't actually know that. And if a franchise can't survive in Phoenix, then it will definitely not survive in Newfoundland. That idea is ****ing retarded.

I would agree, don't think Newfoundland or even any of the other maratime provinces could support a team

Nope.

From some articles that I read in the Star, the owners want to continue to operate in Phoenix because they want to increase the fan base of the league, which would happen in some parts of the States, and not Southern Ontario.

Did not know that.

I bet nobody in phoenix cares that the coyotes are heading out soon.
