I am still waiting on a question I asked and Dude asked. Why, if Neo was a God, was he able to bleed? And why did he tire? Why was his energy NOT infinite?

The Oracle and Morpheus WERE searching for multiple "The Ones". The oracles apartament was filled with potentials in The Matrix. Remember "there is no spoon"? Almost all of those people had the ability to be the one...the Oracle described as "the gift". Again, it was just a formula based on probabilities.
Since Luke's mind powers were shown to work over light years, then Luke could just mind rip Neo's memories right out of his head and assimilate how to be the one immediately. Luke wins again.
See? It is rediculous all the things Luke has at his disposal. Which is why I see it as impossible for Luke to lose. Luke can employ any of those powers...and according to the writing, Luke would do it much more intelligently and efficiently than you and I could think of ourselves...because his mind is much better than ours...
I know Luke does not have a jack...but how else will they fight? My alternate universe is the only place that they can fight. If they fight in the real world, Neo would lose rediculously. They both can fight in the real world and this wouldn't be an absurd fight...however, they both need to be at their full power in order for this to be a great comparison. That is the point of any of these versus threads.
They are both from different universes...so...you can always claim that they are too different or think of premises that make a vs. illogical. You can also think of ways to make it work...such as a playing field where Neo and Luke have their full powers.
In your logic...Luke can't enter the Matrix. That means the Luke is the absurdly clear winner because Luke would fight him in the real world.
i dont know why people argue about neo having the powers as described in the 1st matrix film when morpheus talks about the prophecy..."to remake the matrix as he saw fit"...there isn't really any evidence for neo being able to do that...the walls wobble when he flies...and he can stop bullets...and thats all we see
the only being we see who actually does change the matrix is Sati...when she changes the sunrise "for Neo"...despite her supposedly not having a purpose...perhaps she was the real fulfillment of the prophecy
as for the debate...well it clearly states at the start of the thread that its about the movie versions...so for that ...Neo wins...
i'm not going to get tangled up in the futile arguments about Luke and Neo's powers within the matrix and who can do what based on extended universe stuff

It's only when you bring in non-canon E.U. Luke Skywalker, into an alternate universe, that there's even a chance.
