Predators

Fair dos.

Any idea while the large Preds didn't kill the smaller one? Is the smaller Pred supposed to be the same as the original Predators? Does anyone know how the larger fellas came to be?

Great movie. But I wanted more action.

The classic predator was probably been held til such time that a hunt would begin.

Prolly just another race of the same species..

So even they have racism too.

If they hunt their own for sport based on some kind of racial difference then yeah I'd say so.
But they are an advanced race, so they probably overcame that small fry shit ages ago on their quest to go to the stars.

It might just be that they are the fully adult version of what we thought to be adult Predators originally...

These are the only two possibilities I can think of regarding the Big Dog Predators...

The whole hunt/trophies thing is all very 'rites of passage', after all...
Which would make sense.

Only thing that goes against this theory for me is that the mandible/mouth chin area looked different.

Fishbourne pretty much laid it out, they're similar, but different. "Like the difference between wolves and dogs" he said, which would mean they're still the same species, just different breeds in that species.

As far as them keeping the regular Predator stripped and chained up. I think they were going to use him for sexual purposes, as the hunting season is long, and there are no females about.

Just got back from seeing this flick.
Fell somewhere in the rating of not bad to not great.
Main complaint.

The Preds have really been wussed up.

And Lizzie having intel on the Preds.

YEAH....RIGHT!

She was all of what....5 when the first movie came out?

This was a good one time see,but I won't be rushing to re watch it when it hits the shelves.

Now I have the image of predator gangbang in my head......UGH

But I don't get why the bigger Predators would just drop their "honor."

But I don't think they dropped their honor.

I was under the impression that they never killed Topher Grace because he was unarmed. Also, instead of simply using the shoulder-cannon against the Yakuza, he used an equal weapon.

I rank this movie at about the same as the 1st AVP.

I smelled sequel, which could be why the answers are being saved.

Like someone beats a Pred, they get a gift...I really liked that.

The Predators movie looks like a lot of fun and like its packed with action and messy kill scenes like the previous ones, awesome.

Predators and Piranha 3D are the only movies this summer that I am interested in seeing. Piranha 3D will by my first horror movie in 3D that I have ever seen and its man vs nature. If you like man vs cyborg, then you are probably a fan also. This Piranha 3D flick is directed by the same guy who did Hills have eyes and its filled with babes and carnage. ITS IN 3D! SO FREAKIN SWEET. Have to see both of these.

Saw this movie a couple weeks back & enjoyed it a lot. I really believe it was a step in the right direction for the franchise.

I feel that some of the super preds aren't as honorable as the regular preds thats why noland got blasted into a thousand pieces.

and what is wrong with Lizzie having intel on the preds? She obviously saw a military report about arnies team, and she explained this.

I thought they were going to go with the "she lived in the village that Arnie and the team stormed at the beginning of the movie when she was a child" angle. I also thought their explanation of her knowing what the Predator was was also silly.

I would think that it would be more plausible that she was just part of a team that has been trying to either catch or observe Pred activity on earth.
Her having anything to do with either movie would just be redundent circmumstance thrown in for no good reason.

This movie just had way to much backlog going on in it.
