Predator 2 was pretty shitty, admittedly. I used to prefer it over the 1st one purely because I liked Danny Glover more and I liked the idea of a random police officer using his wits to win instead of some super commando, but the actual movie is just... so poorly done.

I thought it was a highly enjoyable film - typically Robert Rodriguez, and exactly what I expected. I liked the characters, I KNEW something was off with that little Dr Evil, I thought the chick had an AWESOME ass, and I thought the main character was taciturn enough - I was almost sorry when he actually revealed his name at the end. 😄

My only complaint might be that it became a tad predictable at places - but then this was not supposed to be an intellectual thriller. I thought it accomplished exactly what it set out to be - a fun, exciting action movie, with cool, tough characters and some nice special effects.

The one guy that stood out, naturally, was Laurence Fisburne - what an awesome role.

In my opinion, if you saw this film and was disappointed, then you don't know much about Robert Rodriguez - OR the Predators franchise.

I thought I was a little generous with my initial reaction - I gave it a 6.5/10 or something - in retrospect this movie was worse than that. I'd probably change my rating to 4 or 5 out of 10.

Wow, that would be cool, i know that lot of people are waiting to see the PREDATOR 3. I'm excited too.

Well, I just spoke to Arnold and hes going to be in the next Predator movie.

🍺 I finally seen this movie last night,and I really liked it, In my opinion this is actually better then the original,which I think is a little overrated. The movie definitely had some flaws in it though,I think the most disappointing scene in this movie was the ''Sword fight'' Seeing a predator get defeated that easily just completely degraded the character in my opinion. The scene was just ridiculous and made the predator look weak.I also did not understand what them ''hunting dogs'' the predators had were,I mean they are meant to be skilled hunters,why do they need these creatures? Overall I give the movie a 9/10

Better than the original? i can't go there with you but i definitely thought it was good. It's easily better than the second movie even though i have a soft spot for Predator 2. The only real problem i found with Predators was the lack of character development or maybe, not so much character development, but rather the lack of interesting characters. Being so stereotypical everyone in the audience knew who was going to live and die and even when they were going to die from the very beginning. The only twist was the crappy serial killer injection which may have been interesting had they not saved that plot twist till the very end. With that aside, i'm actually happy that the movie didn't try to give us an elaborate story or try to introduce us to the Predators like we had never seen them before.

I think this movie delivered exactly what fans had been hoping for since the second movie. People with guns fighting Predators.

I actually loved the idea of the hunting dogs. For one, it gave us something new. But beyond that, it makes them seem even more like hunters. It shows that they use strategy and demonstrates intelligence rather than simply being athletically technologically better than humans.

What I didn't like was the Predator Hawk. They showed it once in a scene that had no importance. The scene showed no purpose other than to say "Oh look, they have birds too." It could have been edited out and it wouldn't have changed the movie at all.

🍺 What was interesting too me,was the ''Drill'' or whatever it was,that the guy had survived 10 seasons in, who put this there? How did it get there? and what was it used for?

The hawk bot was cool, I liked it.

The Pred dogs were a cool concept.
It's just a shame that the last one that got called back by the whistle never appeared in the movie again.

I was looking forward to a final battle between Brody, the head predator & his dog but alas it never happend.

Finally got around to watching this on dvd missed it while it was at the cinema thanks to a damn cold

Decent Action scenes and Story

8.5/10 from me

now to read the Official Sequel comic.

😬 I honestly always thought the first movie was quite overrated,so even though I am in the minority it shouldn't surprise people that much really.

While overrated, yes, I thought it was clearly better than the Predators film. I liked the first half of it, the second half was a letdown(mainly the creatures). I liked the story, cast, and locations so it wasn't bad. Definately not better than the first two installments though.

Predator 2 was soooo freakin' horrible, though. 😐

I thought it was okay but i prefer the comic & Novel which the story is based on more.
