Predators

Backlog? There were only two scenes of exposition. Maybe it's just me but i thought the movie would have benefited with more "backlog" time. Although, i don't think there was anything wrong with the movie. The action and development were paced well. What exactly do you mean by backlog, though.

Good movie for the most part.

I have no idea what you noobs are talking about in regards to Isabelle and how she knew about the Predators. If Bill Paxton had enough intel on them in the second movie to form a task force specifically designed to track it, negate its abilities and kill it, then surely a "black ops" soldier 20 years later could have similar intel.

That's kind of like a "duh" thing, though. I feel dumb for having to explain it. 🙁

As for the serial killer twist.... meh. Wasn't necessarily "awesome" but it made sense. There was zero reason to not have him be anything but an under the table serial killer by the time they reached that point in the movie, it was the only logical explanation for why a mild mannered punkass doctor would be in the same group as hardened killers and thugs.

WTF? Bill Paxton was the side show hot shot Cop in P2. Gary Busey played Peter Keyes who's the one who tracked it etc...

Just saw this, and thought it was quite a good movie.. until near the end when that Japanese chap had a sword fight with an predator, and the fights which followed.

I thought they were pathetic and didn´t at all reflect the predators abilities. What´s the point of having camouflage and all the cool weapon which were used to kill others in the film, then sword fight someone. Seems illogical to me.

Apart from that quite a good story, the "hero" of the film reminds me of stallone a bit.

Dunno if there´s a thread on this already, searched but go no results?

The sword fight was stupid. The Predator slow and unagile and had the skill of a toddler swinging a toy lighsaber.

Movies came before comics. The Preds in the movies are not quite the same as in the comics so deal with it.

No, it's just the mobility of actors in those bulky suit limit the fight scenes. The Predator in the first film slapped around Arnold in H2H. A minor character in this film killed a Predator in a swordfight. Inconsistent.

Everytime the Predator in Concrete Jungle went against old fat ass Danny Glover in close quarters fighting it got it's ass kicked. What are you talking about?

Predator 2 is so terribad it is excluded from canon.
