Thor vs Superman

I've come to assume Superman's weakness to magic made him as susceptible as rather than being more susceptible. Isn't it supposed to nullify the bioaura or something?

I thought generally JLA/Avengers wasn't used as canon anyway.

Give me a second , i'm making a diagram for the less understandable people.

I like purdy pictures. doped

How durable is Superman supposed to be without the bioaura in effect?

...and guess what. Thors strength is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY above a Normal humans. Ergo Big Blue should now be a steaming blood mess upon the floor. Looks like Dc's secretaries are better with their mouths then marvels.

Hmm then how would he manage to take Captain Marvel, Wonder Woman and Etrigan's magic-based strength, assuming the magic nullifies the bioaura?

Plot Induced Stupidity , or better yet how about we ignore Supermans weakness and character flaws altogether and just rename him God ?

So basically most times Supes deals with magic is PIS?

No , most times DC overlooks their lead characters weaknesses just to make him come up smelling of roses is what I cal PIS (as well as shitty writing).

Magic does hurt Superman. That's a fact. But he fights through it as has been shown multiple times. It's more of a willpower thing. Shazams lightning was f*cking Superman up but his body kept going.

No the storyline kept him going , rarely does a human get hit by multiple blasts of lightening and survive.

Superman is not a human he's a Kryptonian.

And Lex Luthor even stated recently that magic will never be enough to beat Superman.

Without his Bio-auara his stats reflect a humans.

And Lex CERTAINLY knows how the complex forces of magic and Supermans bio-aura works. Oh can this debate wait a second , ten supermodels are about to give me a backrub within my solid mansion of gold.

Thor still loses.

Supes' speed would seal the deal. 😉

How exactly Thor has fought Super Speedsters before in Gladiator and Silver Surfer beings who can both be argueably faster than Superman.

Now before you talk about reaction times and combat speed Glads has taken Hulk out of the atmosphere before he could think what was going on and SS has some picosecond reaction feats where he scans entire armadas.

Thor is not going to be totally outclassed by Superman's speed and people also tend to forget that Thor has area effect attacks that can surround him and he can put shields up to protect himself so no it isn't going to seal the deal.

Really? What happened when he fought Doomsday?

Also, Superman has been tagged before by people slower than him. Saying "speed clinches the deal" is just ignorant.

They've never used combat speed against Thor. Norrin doesn't have any decent combat speeds to speak of anyway. At least not against actual meta characters that matter.

Thor's also been mauled a shit load of times by slower speedsters than Superman. Face it... speed is a HUGE factor in this fight.

Hulk has also beaten the shit out of Gladiator as well.

Silver Surfer doesn't have picosecond reaction times. He's weaved in and out of fleets of ships.... hardly anything "picosecond" about it. 😬

That hardly matters when he'd be taken out before he could use those exotic powers of his.
