Thor has said he can move at the speed of lightning itself. So has Adam Warlock. Thor was able to keep speed with Count Nefaria and The Silver Surfer, both of whom had superspeed. What do you have to say of a disorientated Thor deflecting Phoenix's psibolt when it was 2 feet away from his face? Or Thor being able to tie Mjolnir's thong around Juggernaut's hand, spin Mjolnir, and throw Juggernaut into space all before Juggernaut realized what had happened. Both require super speed.

Superman's greatest feat of strength is moving a Pluto-sized planet. Thor lifted (at least in part) the Midgard Serpent in the form of a cat. The midgard serpent weighs as much as the Earth itself. Thor moving the Midgard serpent would suggest that he is the stronger. How do you figure Superman is stronger?

Superman does not always demonstrate his superspeed. Only when he needs to, like Thor.

in the same regard, ss doesn't always USE his superspeed. CN was brawling with thor and again had no need to use his speed. the psibolt?? again, you are assuming (because no where is it said the speed of a psibolt is measured) it travels at 'the speed of thought'. i have the issue. just because it is 'brain' energy, doesn't mean it moves at the speed of thought! spidey has dodged HUNDREDS of blasts from lasers. is he moving at light speed? wolvie has dodged psi blasts as well. is HE moving faster than thought?? thor can throw his hammer fast. juggs is notoriously slow. again, that proves nothing.

if we are taking things literally, supes can move at the speed of a photon!? why should i disregard that, when you tell me thor can lift and THROW an object heavier than the sun??! did you ever think twilight was made using MAGIC?? maybe THAT'S why surtur can wield a thing heavier than the sun with one hand!! you can't honestly believe if you asked the writer of that book how much the sword weighs, he's say it was heavier than the sun, can you? things are said in comics because - well, they're comics and they sound cool!! tell me you're NOT telling me we should take literally whatever a comic book says? cube, that's preposterous.

You're completely missing the point. You continue to rant about Superman being stronger, but when I present evidence that Thor is the stronger you dismiss it. Perhaps you don't want to believe it.

Twilight was created from the matter of a white dwarf. This is an undeniable fact.

I doubt that Twilight actually had the mass of the sun, but I am sure that it had a greater mass than the Earth itself. I'm just trying to prove to you that your assuption that Superman is stronger is wrong, and that Thor is a least Superman's equal in strength.

When you're discussing a comic book, realistic limitations don't apply. Keep that in mind.

Thor ties the hammer to Juggernaut's hand before he even realizes it. What does that have to do with Juyggernaut's speed?

Again, you assume too much. You're assuming Thor's lightning speed is hyperbole. You're assuming Superman is faster. You know what happens when you assume.
