Good.

Keep trying then 😉

I will.

Superman's a dick.

According to leondias' logic, I should dismiss anything that I doesn't fit into my own definition of comic book logic as hyperbole, or assumption.

Thor didn't match Nefaria's speed, Nefaria's slowed down to accommodate Thor. 🙄

Phoenix's bolts aren't faster than thought. They go about 2 miles per hour. Aunt May could have blocked it when it was two feet away from her face. 🙄

Thor can't move at lightning speed. Adam Warlock had no idea of what he was talking about.

Guess what. The same can be said of anyone that observed Superman's speed, including Flash, who said that he can move at 2,000 miles per second.

It works both ways.

Marvel says that Thor has "Godlike strength, speed, endurance and resistance to injury."

I've given evidence of Thor's speed several times, and each has been dismissed as assumption or misinterpretation, or left unadressed. There's a word for this called, 'denial'.

People, stop underrating Thor.

Thor is just as strong as Superman, if not stronger. He was given the strength of his mother, Gaea, and Odin's own strength. He doesn't use his strength outside of battle often, but when in battle, he's a powerhouse. When he and Odin fought Surtur, Thor was strong enough to lift Twilight, (Surtur's sword.) For those of you who didn't know, Twilight was forged from the matter of a white dwarf star. Summoning all of his strength, Thor was strong enough to lift Twilight over his head, and hurl it.

Don't underestimate the God-blast, either. In Thor #161, Thor was forced to unleash the god-blast against Galactus. Already weakened from hunger, Galactus is forced to retreat into space. Imagine what that kind of power would do to Superman, considering that magic is his weakness.

Thor does have superspeed.

During Blood and Thunder, while observing Thor in battle, Adam Warlock says that Thor is "as fast as the lightning he commands!" Adam isn't known to hyperbolize. Lightning travels at about 18,940 miles per second in earth's atmosphere. Thor is easily as fast as Superman. In hand to hand combat, he's likely faster.

Thor has god-like reflexes as well.

Thor once blocked one of the Phoenix's psi-bolts with his hammer, and bounced it right back at her in Thor #428. No hammer-spinning, just reflexes.

The narration says "A telepathic bolt of unmentionable fury instantly races toward the still groggy Avenger! But then, with reflexes honed in a thousand battles, the mighty Thor instinctively raises his hammer!"

The psi-bolt was about two feet in front of his face before he raised his hammer, and Thor was disorientated when Phoenix attacked him. Superman wouldn't be able to speedblitz Thor; his reflexes are godly. If Superman, rushes in, he would likely get smacked in the face with Mjolnir. Even without magic, Thor's more than a match for Superman physically. Magic would just seal the deal.

Thor's a dick too.

lmao! That he is...

What powerful magical foes has Superman beaten without plot holes or outside help?

In Adventures of Superman #581, Superman allowed Adversary, a powerful magical foe, to hit him as hard as he could, without retaliation. Superman was literally punched halfway across the planet- from Metropolis, he literally landed in China- without any injury or loss of consciousness..........

Let me guess Cosmic this was a plot hole?

Action Comics # 762: Superman harmlessly shrugged off a blow from the magical demon Etrigan. The blow actually knocked Superman from Earth's surface all the way to the moon (239,000 miles), a distance that is about 10 times the diameter of the Earth. Superman was virtually unfazed. In this issue he also shrugged off magical demon-fire (which he did previously in Action #589), and his super-lungs harmlessly inhaled the demon's magical gases....................

Another plot hole?

Superman (dick) vs. Thor (dick)

Superman beats Thor.....yay.
Thor beats Superman.....yay.

who cares.
either way.....a dick wins.
we lose.

am i right here or am i just another dick.....?

No. Both prove that Superman can withstand magic. But, we have also seen Superman bloodied by divine magic. The question is, are these two as powerful as Thor? Marvel's magic weilders are usually at a higher level than DC's.

oh, i "crack" you up? what am i? a clown? a comedian? a dick?

Some of Marvels cosmics are dicks as well.

All that power and he whines all the time

I'm sure Superman was fazed by Etrigan's punch. If he weren't he could have stopped himself before he reached JLA HQ on the moon. Superman usually stops on a dime in flight. The magic gas was meant to make Superman face his worst fear, not hurt him. It turned him into a farmer, for some odd reason.
