The second is not iffy at all. Thor can/has absorbed larger amounts of energy.

Can and has doesnt mean can and will in this fight,supes could run up deck thor in the face and blast him with heat vision.

Supes uses his speed alot more then thor uses his energy abilities or preety much any of his hammers abilities period.

Are you interested in backing that up, I can go through a few years of comics and count all the times he's used powers and you can do the same for Superman speed blitzing people.
