What issue did he first get the ODIN power?

Desperation?

Desperation?

He's making a point about the current state of the 'Thor-excuse' thread.

And you speak of desperation?

Yes, why you continually deny this is beyond me?

Must be why we know of supes speed, strength, and durability while you must guesstimate or totally misrepresent yours.

I certainly havent been the only one to see the desperation on thors end...

Oh, my mistake. I thought this was the Thor whoops Superman's ass thread?

Correction he gained full knowledge on the runes then his father did. Hence the sacrificing of two eyes not one.

Also Thor (and random heroes) has tapped into the Rune Magic not gained it.

So... either way (as I'm not too keen on the idea of reading over Ragnarok), he's more powerful than Odin? And he currently only has the Odin Power?

He had to sacrifice two eyes, because one eye wouldn't repeat the process.

That wasn't the point. Strange reached into a power source that had nothing to do with Asgard, and gave them power of the Runes.

Does Superman have his Pre-Crisis power no?

Thor does have his Odinpower though.

Which was the deal I got from the comic. The runes were never extra power. They were more or less knowledge on how to use the Odinpower like never before. More or less an extension of what was already there instead of another powerup.

I would like to point out that it made many references to Odin being essentially what Thor was but without the ability to change it or go to the lengths Thor had to.

Hence the sacrificing of two eyes instead of one. The instant smiting of enemies of Asgard and the willingness to let Ragnarök happen so could Thor change and end the cycle.

We know Thor's base. We know he can amp via the Odin Power. What's so hard to grasp?

Could the same not be said for the supporters of Superman? What arguments do you have left?

Thor v2 #45 I believe.

We're now on Thor v3 #8.

so is Thor amping himself prior to battle or during battle?

and is amping like an instantaneous thing or does it take some time?

Correction he has full knowledge of the runes still and the Odinpower. Seeing as he remembers his last experiences before his sleep.

What does that have to do with it? Thor ever died. Thor never rebirthed. Thor went to sleep basically. Why would he forget anything?

Anyway, where's your proof he's still got the Runes?

Just something to point out... have you read Thor Vikings?
Thor got beat and broken down by HJ.

Thor got the power of the Runes, and ripped HJ's arms off, and punched his ass to space.

Evidently a massive powerup. 😬

During.

To my knowledge it's instantaneous.

Oh, and Newjack. The magic of the runes is a massive power up.

does the amp have a time limit...or else, why wouldn't THor just always be amped?

He has his PC history as Superboy, at least in regards to Legion stories.

Look, you said yourself in the Thor thread you doubted he was a full Skyfather so I don't see why you're changing your tune here.

When Thor starts throwing around Rune magic, it'll be fair to use his Ragnarok feats. Likewise, when Superman starts towing galaxies, it'll be fair to use his Legion feats.

I have.

And it wasn't a power up per se. More less Thor channeling his power and reinforcing what was already there.

Hence why it was Thor that did and not the other heroes.

Remember what they said.

"Why do we need to help him he is Thor" or something along those lines.
