First off Cosmic he had no air-supply. Do the math.

That is called hyperscpace. You go into that after you reachlightspeed 😱

Just like Surfer uses hyperspsce.

Superman doesn't need to breathe. How would he live in the sun, where there is no oxygen?

It was a wormhole. Superman didn't reach warp speed.

Scan? Does it say "Superman flies Darkseid into the sun in a matter of seconds"? If not, it proves nothing.

I didnt say seconds. I said minutes.

Cosmic Superman had NO AIR-SUPPLY WHILE HE DID THIS!!!!!!!!!

Open your eyes 😱

1. Dont compare "Real World" to "COmic World" They dont match.

2. Barry was able to run at near lightspeeds. He was closer to lightspeeds than you think. You must be reffering to Jay.

1) I'm well aware of this. Read some of my posts.

2) When Barry finally did reach lightspeed, he got pulled into the Speed Force, never to return. 🙁

You truly believe this and your arguing 😆

If Superman needs to breathe, how did he live in the Sun so long, where there is no oxygen? I was under the imperssion that he lived on sunlight alone.

Regardless, If he does need to breathe, (which I doubt,) I'm sure Superman could hold his breath for longer than 8 minutes. He's Super. 😉

He does? Where is your proof?

Invulnerability: Superman is nearly invulnerable to weapons used by normal humans in warfare and we believe that, fully powered, he could survive a near-direct nuclear strike with a ten megaton warhead. In his battle with Doomsday, he was the of the only metahumans able to hold his own against the creature. The battle eventually destroyed over half of Metropolis. He can survive in an environment completely devoid of atmosphere and suffer no ill effects, provided that he carries his own air resources He can operate for periods of up to 30 minutes without air. Extremes of heat and cold have no effect on him and he has been see to skirt the photosphere of the sun (10,000,000 degrees F) with no long term side effects, probably due to a feedback loop of solar energy powering his biomatrix field.

Superman dont have special powers to open up wormholes.

He is fast enough in open space to go into hyperspace.

Deal with it.

Where's that from?

Talk about inconsistency. How does he live in the sun for 800+ years if he needs to breathe? 🙄

Regardless, it takes light about 8 minutes to reach Earth from the Sun. 30 minutes is more than enough time if Superman is traveling at 50% of lightspeed. 😄

Cosmic he went from the Earth to the Source Wall and back. With no air-supply.

He has flew from Saturn to Earth in mintues also.

That info I gave you is from a web-site so maybe he dont need to breathe but I was under the assumption that he does.

Can you prove he dont? If you can thats cool.

What year was it published?

2004. What does that have to do with anything?

It wasnt pre-crisis if thats where you were going.

I can't prove that he doesn't, though living in the sun for over 800 years would suggest that he can.

No, I'm not. I know you wouldn't use a pre-crisis feat. I just want the details. What's the issue title?

Superman/Batman #13. Its the best comic out there right now. I thought everyone read it.

Superman on Smallville and the JLU cartoon needs to breathe I know that.

The comic is different than the show and the cartoon. JLU Superman is a shadow of comic Superman.

I know the issue. I think it's the one with Supergirl on the cover. That, or Darkseid and a super pissed Superman. They used a Boom Tube. That explains everything. Superman isn't FTL.

How does a boom tube work Cosmic?

Lex 2000 special: Superman made the trip from Earth to Saturn in well under 4 minutes. By comparison, light takes about 19 minutes to make this trip.

No tricks here Cosmic Cube.

It warps space and teleports matter to wherever the user desires. No worries, you probably forgot about that part of the comic. 😉

Does it specifically say under 4 minutes?
