It's generally the only way they can respond when put in a corner. It happens in every Thor vs Superman debate. Avlon, Juntai, H1A8 or the other Superman fan-fic writers around here generally tend to see that they can't really counter anything and either bring up Rulk, Black Panther-shit or Mongoose. When called on it they'll go on about how they're joking and then simply carry on without actually refuting anything or addressing the point made in the initial post they attempted to dodge by "joking"
