In his solo series Captain Atom used his elemental powers to defeat Nekron and create his own Universe. So yeah, he's above the likes of Ymir and Surtur.

DC Elementals have immense potential. Just look at God-Thing.

You didn't answer my question. How would Galactus fit into this classification? Would he not count as an elemental? As shown in the Captain Atom series, you don't have to be of Gaea to be classified as one.

I don't recall Nekron doing anything that impressed me. Or at least Adam didn't do anything that impressed me during the defeat.

Operating on a Universal scale or creating dimensions/universes is impressive but not something I'd put above Skyfather level. Captain Atom being in the Quantum Field, a realm that was basically a giant power source for him and could be bent to his will didn't exactly hurt while doing the feat either. He still had limits even there. IRCC, he couldn't bring a dead dog back to life so he created his realm. I always thought of that realm as his Hel, or whatever Mephisto's realm is to him.

Once again, your focusing on two beings. This doesn't magically elevate Elementals across the DCU.

VENOM? RING ANY BELLS?

That flagship character comment is one of the WORST justifications for the Thor fan base

That's not a hero now is it ? Question for ya did Superman fight Silver Surfer in their crossover ?

People who say that DC wouldn't let Superman go down to Marvel foes ignore the page right after that one where Superman got pummeled by Herc and friends and had to be saved by Aquaman.

In any case JLA/Avengers isn't admissable in this forum even if I consider it to be canon.

That's getting beaten by a team right after a close fight which isn't the same thing at all to losing to one hero in a fair one on one fight. This isn't that difficult of a concept to grasp or so I thought.

Quannybun's back.

Venom had his own hero comic back then + Like H1 said JEAN GREY ???

Did Superman fought SS? No they did not, both of those guys are PEACE oriented. what is your point Anyway

This is just to show that the argument of FLAGSHIP CHRACTER winning
OR Popular character winning DOES NOT HOLD UP!!!

That ONLY happened ONCE and it was in 6 of the fights of Marvel VS DC
ONLY IN 6. The main fights

WOLW VS LOBO
STORM VS WW
SUPERMAN VS HULK
BATMAN VS CAP
SPIDERMAN VS SUPERBOY

And I think I'm not sure either

GL VS SS (UNLIKELLY)
CATWOAMN VS ELEKTRA (MOST LIKELLY)

Those are the only battles that were decided by fanvoting

Swamp Thing was less powerful outside of swamps, Odin less powerful outside of Asgard, and Captain Atom gets his power from the Quantum Field.

Venom wasn't portrayed as a hero when he fought Superman. When did jean grey defeat him ?

My point is despite Surfer having the obvious advantage over him they didn't fight more than likely because dc didn't want him to play second fiddle to him on panel.

Dc's golden boy is superman he wasn't going down to Thor. Marvel doesn't have a golden boy they protect like dc does with Superman.

Oh wait because you have insider information in DC? You have a mole in the office of the editor in chief of DC? Or is this the conclusion you came up to Justify any Marvel hero loosing to Superman?

You know how many times I have heard the same story?, you know how many times I have bring the same point up?

Your point gets utterly destroyed with the fact that DC's Golden boy
lost to VENOM and got handled pretty good by Jean Grey (All Access #4), THOSE TWO ARE EMBARASING SHOWING FOR SUPERMAN

Superman getting rought up by SPIDERMAN with red sun radiation?
That is also embarasing

So stop that argument BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK

THE DIRECTORS OF DC AND THE DIRECTORS OF MARVEL THOUGHT that Superman will win, plain and simple. This has been said LIKE 11 times by the Director of MARVEL, Superman haters and Thor fanboys just cannot getting it in their heads.

You're free to think whatever you like.

Tempest -one of the Exemplars- could manipulate wind. She was like the Juggernaut if he was powered by Watoomb and became an elemental. The wind -an the weather in extent- was her speciality. Thor was still able to wrest control over her own wind/lightning, turning it against her.

😂

rawr.

He's not the same as the example you provided, though, so it doesn't really apply.

Superman beats Thor with his own hammer and high fives Hulk.

That explains why Thor gets K.O all the time.

I AGREE THOR CAN DEFEAT SUPERMAN. Lets not be biased, but they are too close.

You know my stance 5.25 out if 10 in favor of Superman

Huh?You must have 😕 me for someone else.

I'm not being bias. Here is what being bias is.

Thor fan:Thor beats Superman in a stomp.9/10

or

Superman fan: Superman beats Thor in a stomp.9/10

I wouldn't say anything like that.I do believe this will be a hard fought battle.I would probably say the same thing you said but only that it is in Thor's favor. But again, this is just my opinion.Hope this doesn't become a flame war.I'm 😎 with U if U think Superman would win.

Not True Odin is not less powerful out of Asgard. Some of his best feats are out of Asgard. However in Asgard Odin has more resourses thats for sure.

rawr, wasnt the outcome decided with a poll or something? anyways it doesnt matter what the writers/directors/editor in chiefs say, its feats that matter

Thor smashes him to death.
