Ah I just remembered it being 2 hands.. I stand corrected. I still call it PIS until I see the likes of Hulk, Gladiator, Silver Surfer or Hercules doing the same thing.

Why do you think Superman, at his best, is not much stronger than most Hulks, Hercules, Silver Surfer, and Glads? Especially when he has the quantifiable feats to prove it?

I don't see any PIS in the feat whatsoever since I view Superman as far stronger than Thor when both are at their best.

What unamped strength feat does he have that puts him out of Thor's league in Strength? Or Hulk or Gladiators? These are all Planet smashing high heralds.

And I know there are inconsistencies of how Vulnerable Supes is to magic, but that scene would suggest no Vulnerability to magic whatsoever.

was hulk getting madder/stronger in their fights???
i thought he would start and stay peed off to teh extent he was earlier.

besides hulk starts out significantly weaker than thor, the reason they were stalemating was cause hulk was very durable even when not at thors level.

The comic in question suggests otherwise, in many panels of that fight, the Hulk actually pushed Thor back, and put him on the defensive. I can't explain why Thor wasn't overcome during their test of strength, but if I were to win a classsic no prize for my guess, I would say that Thor was in Warrior Madness mode, even though at that time, when Warriors Madness was never mentioned in a comic.

I'm grasping at straws here buddy, and as clued out about the fight as anyone else. All I can say, is that when I read that comic as a kid, that it was one of the high points of my life. Thor the Hulk, and Superman were always my favorite heroes when growing up.

^ Nah if it was WM Thor would not have been thinking straight. I think it was more of a the Stronger Hulk got the more effort Thor was putting in, taking him beyond his previous limits. Of course it would'nt have carried on like that forever, eventually Hulk just would have been too strong, and Thor's muscles probably tired.

I'll go for that explanation.

What the hell? If you're referring to Defenders #10, I strongly suggest that you re-read that fight.

Not Defenders, and frankly I can't recall what book issue it was, I do know that it was an Incredible Hulk book, and the Hulk attempted to lift Thor's hammer during the fight. You have a good point. All along we could have all been talking about different fights.

The starbreaker feat, the trio planet moving feat, and maggeddon.

I don't think so, Superman would be vulnerable to the lightning but not the hammer. But it was his hand, not face. A hand in comics can stop more than one's face can.

Thor only used one hand. I doubt superman would have stopped a double handed swing. He seemed to at least be struggling with the stop. Its very similar to Neferias stop of Mjolnir.

Huh, the hammers charged in both, and the angles the same.. I guess Busieks a fan of Nefaria and paying homage?

Neferia was pretty badass when written by Busiek. Still though youd think he could be a LITTLE original. Its pretty much the same thing in both scans.

It's funny but even hulk's hand was more durable then his chest vs glad's eyes, it actually happens a few times across titles.

I dont believe you. Prove it by striking yourself repeatedly across the face with a hammer. Then do the same to your hand.

put the hammer in the oven for 3 hours first

Then attach whatever sharp objects are laying around to the hammer. To help prove your point of course.
