Yeah as a Thor fan I'm totally cool with Superman winning a close fight.

As long as it's not like that stupid crossover where Thor for no reason tanks Superman's HV on his chest, when Mjolnir is fully capable of deflecting it.

Also depends on Superman's resistance/weakness to magical attacks, which to be fair changes from writer to writer. But if he does have any weakness to magic at all, then he shouldn't be catching a Lightning amped Mjolnir in his hand either.

And if going for the kill, the godblast should kill Supes, but Thor may or may not get a chance to hit Supes with it.

Superman's reaction to magic isn't comprable to his weakness to Kryptonite. His history against magic based characters indicates this distinction.

A godblast would absolutely NOT kill Superman.

It's 50/50 I give the edge to Thor due too overall versatility but it's close there is no stomping unless one of them has a really bad day!!

I never compared it to Kryptonite. But you admit a magical attack does hurt him more than a pure physical one right?

With Thor you're getting a combination of both.
