before his healin factor was amazing but recently has has been put down from a few gun shots
he was dropped by a shot to the eye
he was out for several hours when sabretooth destroyed his heart (this too was before his healing factor decrease I believe)

ok nitro after blowing up wolverine falls unconsious, he wakes up a while later with wolverine still a skeleton and has time to walk around before calling his boss to inform him hes "Killed" wolverine
so yes it took a few hours for olverine to regenerate
when he was lown up like that his soul had a long conversation with the phoenix before his eyes finally grew back
