Why is it everytime you get into a debate with somebody they're a fanboy? Blade fanboys, Punisher fanboys, Captain America fanboys. Well we do know that he wasnt there to kill him. To be quite frank the fight seemed like a joke. "Sorry I couldnt hear you over the gunfire" NOT " Holy shit I just shot you and your still up!!!!" You can clearly see he was not suprised by that..

Yeah but in all fairness I dont think the fight between Blade and Wolverine IMO looked good for Blade. It could be argued that he was waiting to put the vial in him I also think it could be argued that even if he put the vial in Wolverine, Wolverine may have still killed him....BUT....I do think that the Blade side have made some good points and dont deserve the title of fanboys, especially when one of the posters said that he could make it about even.

I went thru the blade respect thread...i found some things wrong with it, it looked like movie adaptions were included...two references about his father...one was decon frost...and another was___cross....i am guessing one is from the movie and the other from, his comic origins ....so i am not sure how the feats would be used.....in any case...i see no way for blade to get the win or should i say majority...i could see 2 wins out of ten...maybe three at most...but thats just me

I think thats a bit harsh. Blade has down well against Dracula and Dracula has taken on the X-men. He also has good showings against Spiderman and Gambit I dont see how that justifies only 2 wins. 😐

drac the vs the x-men show vastly more power. One that vs blade pritty much when melee and he did not even show the level of strength that drac did verses the x-men.

Logan did better vs spiderman then blade did.
Blade stalemated Gambit..........Logan has stomp all over gambit a number of times if not mistaken.

It is really telling when blade had prep, was waiting for wolvie and all logan wanted was a beer, that fight was over almost in one panel....and i.m.o blade was spared the quick defeat because it was his comic, as soon as logan took the sword in his chest and moved up the blade...that fight was over....he then asks blade if he had a healing factor.....and played nice by just slicing his face....Blade was done for in a real fight...

and no feat in his respect thread made a major difference to me.canon or not(since i cant tell what is really retcon or just movie adaption or whatever?) but as i said taken all his feats into consideration and the confrontation with wolvie...its not a real contest to me

Bare in mind he wasnt really taking it serioulsy Blade wasnt there to kill him but take him in, also statements like "Sorry I couldnt hear you over the gunfire." and NOT "What I shot you and your still standing." kinda leave me to believe he wasnt taking it that seriously; but I can say why people think that fight was bad for Blade an im in two minds about it. I think both parties make good points.
