OK this issue starts off with Wolverine tracking down Northstar who seems to be on a killing spree. Wolverine wants to give him a chance to reform, Northstar is not for that so they prepare to fight when a teleporter shows up and teleports a bunch of villian that kick the ____ out of Wolverine.
Back at the S.H.I.E.L.D outpost we learn that the doctor had authorized the release of Wolverine, and S.H.I.E.L.D are not to happy about it (like he had a choice). Meanwhile Wolverine is being held captive by Northstar, Elektra and a bunch of reformed supers. Northstar reveals that they plan on killing all Super heros then kings then the President. They find out that Wolverine has a device it his neck the cloaks his Mutant gene, Why you may asks? because Three SENTINALS show up and make soup out of the supers (All mutants i guess) a set up by Wolverine. Northstar takes out one Sentinal ,but, gets blasted by another. Northstar does not die but is badly burned, Wolverine says that he wouldn't kill him if he gives him the where abouts of Hydra's supreme commanders, Northstar tell Logan to "Kiss my....."and before he can finish Wolverine knocks him out(Would have been better if he said Kiss Me), then reports to S.H.E.I.L.D that he need someone to pick up Northstar, takes off on a Sentinal to find the hand. great last page.

Wolverine for both winsI went thru the blade respect thread...i found some things wrong with it, it looked like movie adaptions were included...two references about his father...one was decon frost...and another was___cross....i am guessing one is from the movie and the other from, his comic origins ....so i am not sure how the feats would be used.....in any case...i see no way for blade to get the win or should i say majority...i could see 2 wins out of ten...maybe three at most...but thats just me

It is really telling when blade had prep, was waiting for wolvie and all logan wanted was a beer, that fight was over almost in one panel....and i.m.o blade was spared the quick defeat because it was his comic, as soon as logan took the sword in his chest and moved up the blade...that fight was over....he then asks blade if he had a healing factor.....and played nice by just slicing his face....Blade was done for in a real fight...

1st Wolvie pushes on the blade and claws blades face....that was charity...there was no rolling with it
2nd More charity when Logan punches him...instead of decapitating him
3rd Blade hits wolvie while wolvie is on top of him.....after the blow...wolvie is still on top
4th Blade could not win, he had to resort to bluffing Logan with the vial....because then he could stake him thru the heart....and get a easy win.....like with vampires...and what does Logan say"go ahead do your worst"
I like blade and even have allot of his appearences....despite the horrible art work on his last series, i have seen all the movies and count myself as a fan.....i am not going to try and downplay thier fight, and i would not try the ....blade was not serious bit...that is for the thought bubbles and narrarators to let us know...no disrepect, but i dont see a close fight...2 or 3 wins for blade....and that is from going thru his whole respect thread and seeing every feat there...and based on the fact that he is old and experienced himself.....he is no pushover...but he is out of wolvies league I.M.O

I am sure you have read the scans...so i hope you did,and you would know blade was not interested in going after wolvie..yes..but you are going overboard here, its clear shield will give blade immunity to stake as many vamps as he likes..and also access to shields resources,blade says "do i have to sign some papers"...

I read the logan blade fight today, and I don't think it was a real fight.
Logan certainly could hurt Blade bad many times, but he was fighting with clawless fists for a few panels...so he certainly wasnt fighting for real.
blade does say "we're too evenly matched"
but I'd give the edge to Logan. Blade can't do much to hurt Logan.
