Thor vs Red Hulk

It seemed pretty clear that Thor had something more to give. Why else make the "wrathful vengeance" comment? I'm not sure Thor or Rulk is in a place to say who could kill the other as they don't know each other's limits but Thor was obviously impressed enough to say Rulk should of killed him because it won't be pretty next time.

Which is unfortunate that it seems like round two had Thor "sneak attacking", which I am unsure of because I haven't read the second meeting.

Side note, I wonder when this is all taking place. Thor's been pretty busy since he's been back.

I'm pretty sure Thor does have a healing factor albeit a divine one, he's shown it over the years, after being pummeled by Ulik, gutted by the Crusader, and many other instances that he has come back fresh, in fact when he fought Thanos trying to defend Tarene, he was nearly melted and in a few panels later all of the burns were healed... It's safe to assume that he does heal at an accelerated rate.

It was evident that Rullk could have killed Thor, only Loeb and his boss knows why that didn't happen though.

I know he heals faster than normal, that said I don't recall him almost being melted and then ok a few panels later when fighting Thanos, can you provide the scans?

Thor doesn't need to healing factor like the Hulk because he is more durable than the Hulk to begin with.

Well Thor does have a healing factor, not on Hulk's level but it is there.

I'm not saying he needs one, I was just pointing out the faulty logic of saying Thor was almost killed in one fight and fresh for the second when the two fights happened at best minutes apart.

Don't twist my words. I didn't say Thor was almost killed, but said Rulk could finish the job by Thor own words.

And again Silent Master, I didn't say Thor was fresh in the second, but said in the first fight it was fresh Thor Vs. not completely fresh Rulk (it was immediately after his battle against others, it was fight after fight for Rulk).

Was Thor fresh in the second fight. I wouldn't say so, but he seemed in better condition than Rulk. It seemed something worn him out, even himself said so that something is wrong. Something drained him, made him weaker. Maybe like it's been said, madder, hotter, weaker.

Perhaps the Hulk was draining Rulk, after all Rulk was emitting radiation, and the Hulk is a sponge to the stuff... just a thought.

This thread will remain highly speculative until Thor faces off against Rulk on an even playing field, for now Rulk is up 1-0.

Rulk 1-0? Dude...what? U jus started reading comics yesterday? The " weakness" that Rulk exploit on Thor is non-existant... if that counts than the sneak attack does count too... 1-1

Actually Thor didn't say that Rulk could kill him, he said he was making a mistake by not killing him.

The Rulk however did say that Thor could kill him, and you haven't proven that Rulk was weakened in the second fight, plus again, Thor gave a speech before pressing the attack after that first hit so Rulk knew exactly what was about to happen.

Aha. Thor said ''Hulk to leave me alive'', Rulk said ''you may have just spared my life''.

And?

The battle betwen Thor and Rulk in issue 6 was inconclusive, in issue 5 Rulk whooped his monkey a$$, this is a fact.

They need to battle on an even playing field in order for anyone to say that Thor can beat Rulk. Issue 5 showed Rulk above Thor in the stregth dept by miles... I wish someone had some scans to refresh anyone trying to deny this. The expression on Thor's face and his words show that he was not holding back, and was out for blood when he hit Rulk in the face double handed... Rulk took it and spooked Thor... why was Thor spooked? Because he actually put his best into the hit, and was seen as being impotent.

Score:
Rulk 1
Thor 0

It's actually easy to se why I am scoring the fight this way, Imagine if thor fought Rulk,a nd did the things that Rulk did to him, only to turn around and face Bruce win that fight, and then have to face Rulk, and the Hulk again? Exactly!!!!

Rulk 1
Thor 0

Weakness you say? Imagine if Thor had no hammer, it would have been a massacre.

Sorry boy...itz still 1-1... dont give this crap of tiredness... a gamma creature such as the Hulk never tires.

The only way to defeat a gamma creature was to knock him out or kill him. He never tires.

The battle from #6 wasn't inconclusive, Rulk admitted that he was losing and that the Hulk may have saved his life.
