SS has an attack that would kill Hal(punch, blast, matter manipulation etc)
So, Hal can survive a planet destroying blast without his shield? Pfft.
Besides, no one's trying to kill Hal. Just defeat him.
Hal can't freeze Surfer, as that would take concentration, which requires thought. Surfer can think much faster than Hal (proved in the scan by CC)
The energy draining thing isn't proven either way.
Using his speed would be the Surfer to the best of his capabilities. Getting hit by Hulk is well under said capabilities. The whole forum is based around taking characters at their best, so saying he has been hit by Hulk is invalid.
And if Surfer KO's GL, what's to stop him from just taking or destroying the ring on Hal's finger?
Oh, and Flash, you said Hal could become the new Ion, but then what's stopping Surfer from getting him some Nega Bands and becoming the Keeper? (find Sentry, Keeper is Surfer with Quasar's nega bands. He is promoted from herald of Galactus to Galactus's superior and would probly bitchslap even Ion, after training he was better with them than Quasar was)

That WAS Savage Hulk. Hulk spoke like a child AND in third person the entire fight.
And yea it was Namors punch alone that knocked him out. Nothing else. I dont know where you get your information from. Whever you do, its gonna get you in trouble.

Would a child say "Anything is possible!" or "I am the master of greatest power!" That is not Savage Hulk.
Hal doesn't stop all time everywhere when he does that... He shoots stuff with a beam and they stop. Plus that takes concentration at normal human thought rates. A Surfer at the top of his game could both avoid a beam and probably shoot a blast small enough to knock out but not kill Hal before Hal shoots aforementioned time beam.
