Did Surfer react in a fraction of a nanosecond?

As soon as Hal is hit from Surfer, Surfer won't know that Hal will be stopping time so right when Surfer hits him, time would have stopped already. And jrod already posted a scan of Hal thinking in light speed.

Explain to me why a light speed attack would hurt Hal, but a blast that sent him through a planet didn't.

Jrodslam posted nothing of the sort. None of the images show Hal reacting at near light speed, much less greater than light speed.

Hal will be stopping time about 1,000 milliseconds after he gets attacked. That's about 1,000,000 nanoseconds. But then again, He'd be unconcious by then.

What would Hal do to Surfer it he could stop time before he gets floored?

The blast wasnt directed at the planet. It was directed at Hal.

Gl's blasts can destroy planets.

Time around him is frozen. He's not moving thinking or reacting any faster than a normal human. Time stopped.
