That may be because Kyle has the only ring that doesn't need recharged. Otherwise there's a possibility a powering may run out of energy.

Power rings Also could never kill before. One reason they may have been running out. Fighting battles that they couldn't possibly win against opponents who would kill. A GL doesn't have to think of creative way of winning now when they can just peel an opponent right out of thier silver suit.

His high showings far outweigh his low showing.

No they don't.

Thus far, he hasn't done anything that he couldn't have done before.

Taking out Tenebrous and Aegis however he did it was impressive. Even Galactus was impressed.

And that has no relevance to your claims of GL rings not needing to be charged. 🙂

YOur point? I've already given ample reason as to why they don't just run out of juice. The rings cranked out hours worth of battles with the Sin corps and the Am and none where running out. It's not until thier own batteries where used to depower them that we see them run out. Thanks kbyebye.

So surfer can beat an army of GL constructs that are all from hals imagination. ANd he just happens to imagine an army of green silver surfers. LMAO.

But they do, your opinion is irrelevant. Kyle is the only GL with a power ring that doesn't deplete its energy source, thus not needing to be recharged. 🙂

Maybe you should read more DC comics.... 😉

You should read more dc comics. The rings have a 24 hour infinite charge. Then they need to be recharged. You read more comics. They dont' run out due to the battle. They run out due to time limit. Thanks byebye.

A fairly impressive show of resourcefulness, sure, but nothing out of this world.

And since we have nothing to compare it to (no one has ever tried and failed to do this before), it is very ambiguous.

The truth is, post power up Surfer hasn't had an above top tier feat to his name yet.

No GL is going to beat SS, no way at all, someone prove to me how he's going to win?

Being extremely lenient with GL's powers, you might say they are ALMOST EVEN powerwise, but even then surfer is just more versatile. GL has a ring, Surfer is the the power cosmic

If he is wearing it or is it. Makes no different. Especially when its a ring.

Of course they need to be recharged, but that isn't going to be an issue assuming both start out at "full power".

Any battle between the Surfer and Hal isn't going to take hours and hours. No battle the Surfer has ever been in has taken that long, in fact.

Surfer for the win, 10/10.

WTF you smoking.

Tell me how you came to this decision.

24 hours doesn't equate to infinite. Also, a 24 hour charge also means the ring does in fact need to be charged, which was my point the entire time.

So yes, you were wrong.... again.

I would love for that to be the case, if it is then i appologize, but i thought when i read the tradepaperback GL rebirth the writer explained certain things(in the back of the trade)

Why does the ring address the power levels? if a ring is at 5% what does it mean? 5 minutes left? does 100% mean 24 hours? and why when ringbeares use there power does it decrease way faster then panels shown?(i know its hard to determine passing time from panels)

Why do lanterns say "i bareley have enough power to............"etc when there levels are low
if they have infinite power for a time it would not be a problem. what they would say is"i dont have enough time to....""my time is running out"( which in the past was the case)

Btw i am only trying to learn more, even though i have been collecting GL for 30 years, some things can slip by me, no offense meant by my post

Surfer has a long history of beating opponents who manipulate energy in a similar way to Green Lanterns. He has been shown to both be able to manipulate this energy himself as well as phase through it, he did it against Quasar for instance.

NOne taken. The rings charges may well have to do with how much time is left. Becuz when they are "5%" does this impede what they are capable of doing? NOpe. YOu see when something is truly at 5% of it's original power, then that limits what it can do. I've never seen a ring low on charge not being able to do what it always has. 5% would indicate it was only at 5% capacity, which is NOT the case. 😄

Since when was manipulating energy the only thing the GL's do?
