For surfer?

Was actually replying to this. Don't really care about Surfer, tho. I kinda liking Hal as his recent "feats" were pretty damned beastly.

I'm a bit of a "flavor of the month" kinda guy, whoever has the best recent "feats", I root for. 😛

Ah, ok.

You're right, I should only use your posting history record to prove it. However, I care not what you think 😉
You can't prove me wrong which is the point.

At this point, I'd say Hal 6/10, at least.

Because of the Nekron feat?

What does the Nekron feat have to do with anything? He summoned Nekron because Nekron allowed it. Now within Hal's or anyone's ability to do so

How is that relevant ?

Silver Surfer wins in a good fight.

Where do you get that Nekron ALLOWED Hal to control him?

Because it proves how powerful Hal's Will has become.

Current Hal stomps.

Current Hal has some great high end feats, high end feats that aren't and likely will not be indicative of his average. Surfer has some obscene feats as well to his credit.

It's not a stomp in either direction. The only way Hal stomps Surfer is if Hal is officially bordering on the upper end of trans tier and beyond and not just enjoying some great feats from his longtime writer's final issue.

Where did I say control? All I said is Nekron ALLOWED Hal to summon him.

Wouldn't it take more willpower to control him rather than simply summon him?

What of surfers non amped feats compare to the recent Hal feats?

And if its an average of the characters I can agree that it's no stomp in either direction. But I'm looking at the latest outings as there's nothing to suggest he's going back to having normal Hal feats in the near future, he's the leader of the entire GL corps now.

Nekron needs a special link to cross over to the universe. He used Black Hand was his link, while the black lanterns were powering him. IN GL 20, Hal becomes the link. He comes back to life and the link dies so Nekron is returned back to his realm.

AT NO POINT did Hal control Nekron. He merely suggest that he should kill the first lantern because of various reasons. That's not control; that's manipulation

???? They even had a small squabble over who was in control... It wasn't a suggestion, it was an order, that's why sinestro told HAL to strike, not Nekron.
