Spidey has the Daft Punk advantage..

Harder, Better, Faster..Stronger..Cap is damn tough dont get me wrong, but, you know..Spidey is a >Ton puncher than cap.

Trading punches and going for the smackdown, i think Spidey could take more of Caps punches then Cap could take of Spideys. Not to mention hit frequency also goes to spidey

Agility - Spidey
Strength - Spidey
Speed - Spidey
Durability - Spidey
H2H - Technique - Cap, But technique doesnt make u faster or give u the ability to take a Lik!

Spidey 9/10 - save one for a lucky K.O cap might get.

I agree -Cap is the man but Spiderman is too much for him. Spidey always jobs to Cap in the comics, because in the Marvel Universe Cap is a legend-an icon of freedom for the allied forces in World War 2 and leader of the Avengers in modern times. So despite Spiderman's obvious physical superiority, he is written to be inferior to Cap on the few occasions the 2 have fought. My opinion is not based on who jobs to who but on both character's abilities- so istick with my previous posts and say Spidey for the win

Sorry but that is no failure. In those fights he was written down. As I mentioned earlier in this thread, there was 1 story, featuring Punisher and Nightcrawler, where a couple of Jigsaw's cheap thugs were able to beat Spidey andknock him out. There are a lot of stories where Spiderman is written down for the purpose of the story, especially ones where he goes against skilled street levellers.

Failure again. Why are you comparing Jigsaws thugs to Iron Fist and Shang Chi?

Why do you think all the cartoons, video games, handbooks, movies, majority of people, etc. portray SM as being much faster than CA? This is because it is the truth. CA isn't even faster than Beast. And SM is faster than Beast.

There's a big problem with your assessment. Yes, Spiderman has the proportionate speed of a Spider(meaning that his speed was multiplied relative to that of a spider), but you forget that the end result of that multiplication of abilities is based on Spidey's NATURAL speed. Multiplying some slow ass science geek's speed by a factor of 25 doesn't necessarily mean that he's far faster than Cap because Cap's a LOT faster than the science geeks base speed(which is what the proportionate increase is based off of). Think about it if Cap's reflexes are 23 times better than the geeks base, then the differences in speed after the proportionate increase isn't really going to be all that great now is it?

Yes I think I know where you're coming from. IF and Shang-Chi Have abilities that allow them to amplify their physical attributes to superhuman levels that even surpass Spidey. They bring abilities to the fight that Cap doesn't. So BUSTER1, you are right. It is obvious.

That is your assumption. And I ever said That Cap couldn't get a win at all. I said that he isn't beating Spider-Man for the majority. You're fishing in a lake with on fishes, by assuming that.

Well, I gotta admit: this thread has been an eye opener for me. The on-panel evidence seem's pretty strong favoring Cap's victory over Spidey. It's funny: I always thought Spider-Man was at the top of the heap which held the likes of Captain America, Batman, Daredevil. Maybe Spidey was at one time, and things changed. Maybe I should just toss him on the jobber heap, alongside (pre-WWH) Hulk and Galactus.

In any event, I have to acknowledge the evidence, but I gotta tell ya: it just don't feel right (no offense to Cap fans).
