Seriously there's one scan where it takes all the Classic Avengers to hold Spidey down, after he had manhandled Cap.
That's a GROSS misrepresentation of what happened. Spiderman threw Cap while Cap was trying to calm him down and what did he get for it? He got his ass punched by Cap.. AGAIN.. then the Avengers all tried to hold both men back. Nice way of making up feats to pretend Spiderman's better though. 😉
How do we need scans of Cap fighting Spiderman level people in speed?

I mean off the top of my head Cap's fought (and beat)
Scorpion (twice).
Vulture.
Doc Ock.
Lady Ock and Hobgoblin (at the same time)
On top of that there were his encounters with the Spiderclone.
Thor (real thor).
several good showings against Quicksilver.
And he's had several encounters with Spidey were Spiderman's speed has never been "too fast" for him.
The "Well Spiderman at his best" nonsense would have to be supported by scans to have any validity whatsoever. And in spite of hundreds of thousands of comic book panels and dozens of speed feats, he's still never done a damned thing to prove that he's far faster than Captain America.
Until we have three fights where Spiderman is clearly above the likes of Cap in h2h this is all I see happening for a majority in this fight:

Those are the same scans over and over again. They are not going to win this debate. Other people have put up different scans of SM that show he can take this. It's like nobody gets that Cap and SM battles are not battles where they are giving it their all. This is a vs forum, not a comic where the plot is more important than the fight.

It's like nobody from the Spidey side gets that regardless of plotlines the fights still prove undeniable facts concerning:
Cap has durability to stand up to Spiderman as he took a hit from Spiderman with his sheild.
Cap's punches can and will hurt Spiderman.
Cap knows nerve strikes, PROVEN effective on Spiderman.
Spiderman's speed, agility, nor Spider Sense have proven too much for Cap to compensate for.
Cap thinks he can beat Spidey.
Spidey thinks Cap can beat Spidey.
Spidey clones think Cap can beat Spidey.
and on panel objective narratives describe Cap as dealing with stronger, more powerful foes than Spidey and always prevailing; totally undermining Spiderman to Cap in comparison.
