My god you still havent even figured out that Spiderman would not have beaten the bloody robot without the off-switch. No off-switch no victory dont you get it?The fact that Spiderman suprised him ONCE does not prove that Spiderman was superior to the robot because it happened after the robot tricked him TWICE, but obvoulsy since the robot has an off-button it paid the price. The fact that its says its brain was trying to think of plan does not mean it wouldnt have you are making that assumption. Hell Spiderman even said it was like fighting himself. Actually we've been through this. The number of people who think Cap takes the majority compared to the Spidey side is nearly equivolent in comparison. It's fauly to defect to arguments of ad populem at any rate.

As for Metalman and Phantom.

What the Robot clone said isn't invalid by any means. It made the statement in reference to h2h combat. Spiderman beat the robot by way of almost happenstance not h2h; like Meta said, outsmarting it in a sense. But their fight was fairly evenly matched and it can't be argued effectively that the Spiderbot wasn't at least a decent representation of Pete and his capabilities. What the roboclone said only supports what Parker has said himself in that when it comes to in-close fighting, Cap makes Spiderman feel like a chump. It simply acts as supporting evidence to all the evidence that already exists supporting that Cap can take spidey h2h.
As for all this talk about Spidey's durability being too much for Cap.. Nonsense. Cap as already hurt Spiderman to the point of "uhhhn!" and "urrrk!" wearing bullet proof battle armor, on top of his heightened durability which he no longer has as a result of One More Day anyways. 😬
Cap's stopping power is clearly enough to make bricks reel, it should be more than enough to hurt Spidey.
Take him out? I don't know. The pro-Cap argument has basically been defecting to nerve strikes ftw because that'd be the easiest way for Cap to take him down.
Scorpion breakin his fist on Spidey's face is EXTREMELY irrelivent. Gargon is a loser with little to no fighting ability outside of a couple dozen comic fights. He has no formal training and is actually quite an idiot on top of that. He could very easily break his fist on Spiderman due to his inability to punch correctly. Which is almost what we certainly have to attest that little display to due to the fact that there's been far more times he's hit Spidey without such a reaction.

Cap on the other hand has NOT broken his fist hitting people as durable as Spiderman and TIMES more durable than Spiderman, and not only that, but he's managed to hurt them and send them reeling back, even knock them out.

Yeah I can say PIS.. to Spiderman taking anymore than one hit from the Juggernaught who regularly takes superhumans and bricks apart with sheer ease.... 😐

Maybe we should compare first fights with one anothers opponents to draw accurate comparisons since the more times you fight someone the more capible you are of knowing about them, their weaknesses and so on.

In their first fights.
Cap beat Redskull, Spidey got elbowed in the gut and tossed aside.
Cap eaily beat Scorpion, Spidey almost got railed.
Cap easily beat Rhino, Spidey got steam rolled.
Cap actually took less to take down Absorbing Man than Spidey, since he completely tired himself out going after Spidey while Cap actually knocked him out first.
As for IM.. Spidey doesn't have those powers anymore, that "fight" doesn't do ANYTHING to prove anything about a h2h fight, and IM cheapshotted Cap without his damnd shield to start THAT little frackus.. Funny how you forgot about Spiderman getting his ass owned with half the New Avengers in a baseball field in a straight fight.
As for the feats of speed.. All that did was reconfirm that they're in the same ball park....

Cap had a much harder time than Spidey. And he used his shield a lot in that fight. I understand that Absorbing Man became brick, steel, and electricity. But that nothing Spidey hasn't had to deal with before with Hydro Man, Electro, and Rhino (who can bend steel easily).

Spidey is being beaten over the head by Juggernaut.

you actually made cap look better. iron man(extremis) was beating cap but that same cap made spider-man(enhanced by stark) look like a rookie....good job.

and their rhino fights, spider-man does have 10 ton strength and rhino is too slow to dodge any of them. cap tooled rhino like the fool he is.

Marvelknight. Question for ya. How much stock do you place in the fact that Cap intimately knows Spiderman's powers and fighting style so well that he can actually manuever a fight his way, even to the point of negating his spidersense?

Because I like Spidey. I really do. I'd give him the majority against a whole bunch of people. But for goodness sake, Cap has him down to a T. This is almost the same advantage that Iron Man has over Cap. Iron Man's armor has recorded just about every single fight that Cap has had while in the Avengers. That kind of advantage combined with the physical ability to exploit it, is enormous. Cap, while weaker, slower and less agile, still has the physical ability and fighting skills to exploit this knowledge and thus overcoming the physical disadvantages presented to him in this fight.

Whether you believe Spidey is faster than Cap and has more impressive feats ought to be tempered by this unassailable fact. Hey, I don't like to think that Iron Man could beat the crap out of Cap simply because he's recorded many of his fights. But hey... it happened.

Split 5/10. Cap still uses his shield a lot against his opponents in straight up fights where he's outmatched and losing it hurts. A lot.
